proving that while humanity may go extinct, shallow and superficial taste shall reign eternal.

Praise Cthulhu!

I saw T3 and loved it...can't wait for #4

Holy Feldercarb! A new link!

On topic: Everyone I've talked to sez T3 roxxs. I'll be seeing it later today.

2003-07-13 10:23:15 AM
I thought they solved all the problems in T2 when they melted the computer chips from the future.

2003-07-13 10:24:11 AM
hey now ... you see, I thought this movie was allriiight.

/ain't no call for the negativity, now

2003-07-13 10:25:42 AM
T3 was entertaining but unoriginal. There's nothing in it that wasn't done by the other two movies. You're better off seeing Pirates of the Caribbean.

2003-07-13 10:25:59 AM
hey, i thought this movie owned

lame source graphic...

The criticism of the T3 being unemotional is rather unfair, considering she is, after all, playing a robot. And the fact that the T1000 was identical in that respect, yet the movie was incredible, shows how overly critical the review is. Ah well.

2003-07-13 10:39:44 AM
I liked it, I thought it had a different and good feel to it being a non Cameron film. The fact that Cameron didn't do the film leads it to some new twists and interesting new ideas.

This review...sucks. Just be a straight review site if you fail so consistantly at being even amusing.

I actually like T3, too. It wasnt great, but it certainly wasnt the flaming pile everyone expected it to be.

2003-07-13 10:43:46 AM
I saw it on Friday and I thought it was awesome. Great action, good characters, and some extremly funny ass one liners from AHHHNOLD. Good times over all. It was one of the few movies that I have seen recently that I felt was actually worth the money I paid to see it.

2003-07-13 10:47:47 AM
t3 rocked, plain and simple
sure, it was kinda cheesy in some points, but thats half the reason most people went im sure, for the one liners and AHHHHNOLD antics

2003-07-13 10:51:00 AM
Well after that review I have decided not to go and see it - sounds crap.

2003-07-13 10:51:40 AM
I have to say that is one of the WORST movie review pages I've ever seen.

2003-07-13 10:58:21 AM
Pirates of the Carribean was more entertaining than any movie I've seen in theaters in a while.

Which really isn't saying much, but still, it was a pretty damn good movie.

2003-07-13 11:00:52 AM
Just saw it yesterday and it rocked. Sure, there were a couple of cheesey lines, but that was just to make it more fun to watch. Everyone's a critic.

2003-07-13 11:08:41 AM
I thought T3 was a very good action movie. However, it was nowhere as good as T2. And I hated how they changed the T2 focus of "No fate but what we make" to "We are chained to fate, and it is farking us in the arse". Plus, some of the plot events were just bizarre (how did they get to center of top secret military installation?). Most of all though, the ending sucked. Big time.

2003-07-13 11:09:04 AM
I liked it as well. I guess the reviewer missed the whole philisophical point that was made about the kiss in the basement proving that no matter how you tried to change it the timeline repairs itself. The second terminator attack seperated the 2 kids but the 3rd attack put them back together. The 1 liners were pretty good and the chase scenes were great. Plus I liked how they finally explained at the end convincingly how the homeless bastard kid of a crazy woman could end up as the leader of the human resistance.

2003-07-13 11:15:54 AM
I thought the movie was a great action film. the chase scenes were awesome and the story was cool. If you go in expecting a movie that will change your life then your a moron, but if you go in expecting to be entertained for a few hours then this movie will do just that.

2003-07-13 11:21:17 AM
"Here's what I don't understand: If they can send back one Terminator, why not send back a thousand? Then they can get the job done, knock off Connor...."

That line proves that this guy is the worst critic ever. I hate it when people ask questions like this.

2003-07-13 11:21:24 AM
Someone please tell me why they couldn't make a terminator movie set entirely in the future with bands of humans fighting machines?

2003-07-13 11:21:50 AM
how did they get to center of top secret military installation?

Don't blame the movie because you couldn't be bothered to pay attention. The first top secret military base they entered because they were going to see Kates father who was in charge of the place. The second base they entered because Kates father and the Terminator told them of it's exact location and led them to believe it was the key to stopping Judgment Day.

I believe you will get your wish W T-4. The resistance has begun.

All I have to say is "This is enough C-4 to blow up 10 supercomputers!!" -----LAAAAAAAAAAAME

2003-07-13 11:28:45 AM
the whole terminator series doesn't make sense because there is no logical way for to start everything in motion (i.e. getting sarah pregnant in the first place so she can give birth to john).

at least arnold will be a better gov than that mechanical dolt gray davis.

2003-07-13 11:37:33 AM
talk to the hand

2003-07-13 11:39:25 AM
T3 was better than T2 but the first is still the best.

2003-07-13 11:43:03 AM
ToStupidTooCare, I always assumed that he had a different father, but when Reiss(sp?) was sent back he knocked the biatch up instead. So John still had Sarah for a mother, but better genetics because his father was a warrior and not some goon who took Sarah home from the bar, gave her a fake name and knocked her up.

2003-07-13 11:51:37 AM

This is a good reason for cheering on the machines!

2003-07-13 11:53:05 AM

I dunno, he seemed to have liked it

The last thing California needs is a goveromer who glories drug use in his movies like Schwarzenegger does.

I saw the movie yesterday. The movie was great! I find it funny that the first terminators were created by humans (those machines that said T1-2 on them, I assume that means Terminator Set 1 version 2). "I thought they solved all the problems in T2 when they melted the computer chips from the future." They only postponed the inevitable. Humans are creating faster computers everyday. All the research that had been done on the original chip could have been stored at a remote location, which would be standard practice. It was only a matter of time. Skynet is not hardware, its software, so it can invade other systems.... which leaves to wonder... can skynet run on a 486dx....

2003-07-13 11:54:15 AM
Both PoC and T3 sucked. Sorry, gang, but they did.

Yes, because her father is in charge of the place it gives her permission to run in there with two people who don't have security clearance, while she's presumed kidnapped, and one of them is toating enough firepower to redecorate the entire place... suuuuureeeeee.

2003-07-13 11:56:22 AM
This review is so stupid i wouldn't base anything on it. And the whole time-traveling part of the plot never made any sense, so why criticize it now?

2003-07-13 12:00:49 PM

If Skynet is licensed under GPL, it will sooner or later attach itself to every piece of code ever written.

2003-07-13 12:01:17 PM
btw I found a picture of the very first Terminator
It says T1-8 so it probably means Terminator version 1 unit 8... i was wrong earlier on that part.

2003-07-13 12:05:21 PM
I loved the movie. Especially the end. I feel this review is... poor.

2003-07-13 12:05:28 PM
"There's John Connor waving his tattered flag like he's posting mail with Kevin Costner."

That was a funny line.

2003-07-13 12:07:06 PM
Yeah, the whole military base thing is a bit iffy, but you got to figure that a coffin full or ordinance makes up for a security clearance, especially if you are an unstoppable robot killing machine. T2 was better, but T3 was cool, worth the price of a matinee ticket.

Also, I'm now in love with Claire Danes.

2003-07-13 12:10:53 PM

Firstly. FARK IS BACK!!! (Just like the terminator)

Second. I think Arnold would make the best US president...EVER!! Imagine that. No respectable terrorist would attack any us interests in the fera that Ahnold will ged medievil on their rear end personally! So in conclusion

AHNOLD FOR 2004!!

By the way is he a republican or democrat?

2003-07-13 12:12:12 PM
My spelling is excellent today.

2003-07-13 12:24:36 PM
I might end up renting it, but I think it can't make up its mind what kind of movie it wants to be--fun, serious, thoughtful, etc.

Meanwhile, Bad Boys II looks like a pretty cool "check your brains at the door Michael Bay just got $150 million to blow shiat up with" kind of movie. Hell, there's more explosions in the trailer than in the entire first movie.

S.W.A.T. might also be a silly fun movie, depending on how Samuel L. Jackson is. It also depends on how much they got to stretch the PG-13 rating.

2003-07-13 12:25:53 PM
Ahnold is a Republican, IForgotMyPassword.

2003-07-13 12:28:32 PM
Vederian thanks for the pic, when the TX went up to that, I just wanted to yell out: GRANDPA?!?

I went into T3 with reservations, but walked out loving it ... my $.02 is that Episode I so lowered expectations that most sequels/prequels can't be any worse ...

Also, for those who haven't found it yet, this is my favorite movie review site:

Hey IForgotMyPassword, a little bit of American trivia: The President of the US must be born in the US to even run for the office. Arnold is not eligible. He was born in Austria.

2003-07-13 12:29:54 PM
I heard that Arnold got that body from drinking milk and using a bowflex machine.

2003-07-13 12:37:29 PM
Thangle Yes I am not american but at the end of the day I was just imagining stupid things and trying to be funny.
