It's like he can walk into a huge number of bars in Istanbul. Yes, you can drink there, but your selections are limited.

Should've practiced more.

Interesting article...let's see if Iverson is really a changed person.

sirrerun: REALLY?

It's a surprisingly decent article....but after about 4 pages I realized I'm at work for the first time in two weeks, and have way too much sh*t to do playing catch-up to read any further on AI's Turkish Adventure.

It was actually a really interesting read. Maybe we can find a way to put it into a 15 second you tube clip for you.

Thanks. I bailed on page 3. I mean, it was interesting, but I couldn't focus.

Same here. I read "she's a dead ringer for Sloan from Entourage..." and drooling ensued. If Emmanuelle Chriqui has doppelgangers roaming around Turkey, I'm moving there tonight.

Not complaining about the length of the article, just the number of "pages" they felt the need to post it in.

I may read it later by clicking the "print" link, but seriously, the practice of artificial "paging" web content needs to go.

Just place more ads throughout the article if you really need the revenue.

Beer is pretty limited, but if you like the hard stuff your options are a lot better. I live in Istanbul and have been to that club. It was a lot more than 20 lira a drink when I was there.

It's more actually, but the formal census reveals that many. It's closer to 18 million when you count undocumented housing and so on.

Hundreds... in a city of 13+ million. Been there twice, and while there are districts with a lot of bars(like Taksim) I didn't really get the feeling that there were many when we were out in the neighborhoods. I remember having to go to one specific convenience store because it was the only place within 10 min that sold cold beer

If he would have just like, gotten along better with his team mates in a team game then maybe he would still be playing in the NBA.

The saddest thing in life is wasted talent

He's always been kind of fascinating to me. There always seemed to be a degree of depth to him, but it was always overshadowed by all that off-court and "practice, man" stuff.

It's in Istanbul. Instead of T.G.I. Friday's, shouldn't it be T.A.I. Fridays? (Thank Allah It's Fridays)
