Good point. And as a non-smoker, I think it's better for it personally. I wouldn't go to a bar with friends a lot because the smoke just about killed me. Made it hard for me to breathe, I was congested and coughing up crap for days after, and as I have a really sensitive sense of smell I could sniff it out of my skin for days.

Still, I think it's been good enough to count as a wash for most establishment owners. While some smokers might not go out as often, I know myself and other non-smokers I know are more likely to go out with friends.

So how were they?

Grew my own plants, tried it twice with a torch lighter and took big pulls. Felt like i was in another world for 5 minutes. Tried it twice, lasted five mins and was intense. I recomend trying it like all psychedelics at least once, twice 2 make sure you don't like it.

i strongly disagree with mixing salvia and pot in a bowl. *maybe if you are smoking the salvia plant material, wouldnt know i havent ever tried the leaf. if it is the extract much better to use a torch lighter, pack a smallish bowl of the extract, take a big hit and hold it. start counting, usually somewhere around 10 is when people lose all sense of reality for a couple/few minutes depending on the extract strength.

I've tried salvia a few times, and both were very unpleasant experiences. I actually completely forgot who I was for about 5 minutes on the last time. It wasn't trippy or fun, it was disorienting and uncomfortable.

I would gladly recommend salvia for Patrick's detox program. It can't possibly burn as many brain cells, and he could gradually ease into sobriety with no bad effects if he uses only salvia when he re-lapses. Poor guy. He needs better help than he's been getting. It really would be wonderful if he could get clean.

shiat, maybe that's what salvia is for: to help detox people like Patrick Tribbet. I knew a kid like him back in high school, Indian Joe. He always had a sock tied to the collar of his shirt, and he'd get busted in K-Mart spraying paint onto the sock, then sticking his face down in his shirt and huffing like mad. It was so sad and scary to watch his deterioration over the years. Solvent abuse is just the most wretched thing you could do to yourself without actually committing suicide.

I'm a smoker and I support your right to not be choked out on the dance floor. But for f*ck's sake, what was wrong with the PROPRIETER deciding smoking or non? Mandatory smoking bans just mean NO ONE gets to choose, and that doesn't sit right with me.

I tried salvia twice and did not enjoy it. Unlike weed, salvia made me not want to experience anything. I didn't want to listen to music, watch TV, play videogames.
