Maybe we'll actually be able to tell the difference between the two 'sides' and the story won't be mind-numbingly stupid. Worst movies since "2012".

I thought guys liked LeBeouf because he was made everyone else feel better about themselves?

/disclaimer: I only saw the first one so not sure if the characters have grown beyond the co-star's cup size.

Personally, I thought MABASPLOOM deserved the Oscar that year.

Erm, the very first clip shows the command and service modules flying to the moon without the lunar module?

Somehow I doubt this will be the only glaring problem with the movie.

Methinks you may have deleted some of that there HTML stuff.

Nothing wrong with enjoying a good action movie - what's wrong is pretending it would have been art if it wasn't for the writer's strike.

"Shy of the Beef"

Why the hell would anyone name their kid that? Was he destined as a child to become a vegetarian?

I can't watch any of "Shy of the Beef's" movies. His name is just too off-putting.

Grass Hopper: Micheal: TRANSFORMERS WILL NEVER WIN AN OSCAR.

The Dorkiness is what sells it. Don't fark with something that sells.

Given what he says in the article, it's pretty clear that by "dorkiness", he means the lame comic relief and dumb subplots that center around the human characters. In which case, I'd like to emphatically say no, that's not what sells it at all.

2010-12-09 12:20:43 PM
This time, he'll have a blatantly Jewish Transformer ("Kikeius") defecate on James Earl Jones while talking about saving money on car insurance.

Also, he eats his energon with bagels.

He explodes in the second act. Spontaneously. Just because the show needs one more explosion.

/and not a single f*ck was given that day.

I am really happy to hear this news. Transformers was the epitome of my childhood in the early eighties. The first movie was a dream come true, the second is what I would call a nightmare of suckage because of the over the top "humor".

yeah...although the first one wasn't great either. not bad - but not great. too much human shiat. the kids were hardly in the cartoon at ALL. while i am sure megan fox bent over that car put a generation of 12 year olds into puberty, i'd rather see robots tyvm.

i will say that the first time optimus spoke i felt like i was 9 years old eating cereal about 14 inches from the tv set at 6am on a saturday...

"Good" is the operative word. The first was fun. The second was so boring I almost fell asleep despite all of the explosions. Not to mention just insulting (illiterate black transformers with gold teeth, balls, etc...) The action scenes of the Transformers fighting was just a blur of sharp grey metal tumbling around. I could hardly ever tell who was who.

I doubt I'll even rent the 3rd, let alone see it in a theater.

Actually yes.

The robot action brings in the nerds. It's the cutesy sidelines that makes it a date movie - the nerds would otherwise just download it.

So yes - the cutesy lame stuff does sell it.

Transformers I was okay, although I found some of the humor a bit much.

Transformers II was horrible on so many levels, from its absurd length, to its absurdly degenerate toilet humor, to its absurdly broken plot.

If Transformers III has the parents in it at all, it isn't worth watching.

True enough. I know they're not great pieces that will stand the test of time...but, for what they were, I had a fun time, and enjoyed the holy hell out of them.
