See for yourself. Here's a link to my place:
LINKY

The other places are owned by chains and I'm the last independent.

2003-07-06 02:54:04 PM
I voted for Mulligan's, because having a bunch of people you don't know vote for a bar they've never been to just to get a plaque on the wall is just dumb.

2003-07-06 02:55:05 PM
done

2003-07-06 02:55:59 PM
no offense.

2003-07-06 02:56:49 PM

2003-07-06 03:00:02 PM

/keeping with a loose theme

2003-07-06 03:05:33 PM
What did I just vote for? I think I just put Al Sharpton in the White House.

2003-07-06 03:05:33 PM
I voted for you dude. But when you changed you exteriors, you should have gotten rid of that dire green color.
Cool Freddy Krueger awning though.....

2003-07-06 03:06:44 PM
I'm sure the yuppies will appreciate your support DeanMoriarty.

2003-07-06 03:07:02 PM
Tried to vote for you and got a "You already voted today" message.

2003-07-06 03:07:15 PM
Done. Now when can I expect my free wings?

2003-07-06 03:07:39 PM

2003-07-06 03:08:14 PM
I hate sports, I hate spending money in bars because there's always some drunk looking to talk to you about how great you were back in high school, music way too loud, or lights too dim. However seeing as bars will likely not be replaced by some other means of public high school reminiscense in the dark you've got my vote. Good luck Out of Bounds

2003-07-06 03:08:15 PM
I voted, but will you still respect me in the morning?

2003-07-06 03:11:09 PM
I'm of the same mind as Bin_jammin about sports and bars but the pilsner persuaded me (as it often does). Good luck!

2003-07-06 03:11:19 PM
Hey, OBB

I'm moving back to Richmond at the end of the month. At what intersection on Broad are you located?

2003-07-06 03:13:26 PM
you got it OOB... and i might even vote twice. ;)

2003-07-06 03:13:28 PM
Don't blame me, I voted for Bush. Ah ha ha ha ha ha!

2003-07-06 03:15:03 PM
Hey... just kidding. You should have a "Farker Discount" at your place... perhaps if a Farkboy or Farkgirl says "Jailarity ensues" you get 15% off... Just a thought.

2003-07-06 03:15:09 PM
Question: If we show up at your place and mention Fark, do we get the first beer on the house? I might be in the area sometime next month.

/always looking for free beer

2003-07-06 03:15:20 PM
DeanMoriarty: why didnt you just not vote then?

corporate chains for everything gets old, got my vote.

2003-07-06 03:16:05 PM
I can't srink, but a farker is a farker. I voted
OOB.

2003-07-06 03:18:40 PM
Never been to Richmond, I voted for Breakers though. Name sounds better.

2003-07-06 03:18:46 PM
Got my vote OOB. Good luck

2003-07-06 03:19:17 PM
I used to live in Richmond, but I never got out much before moving to Northern Virginia. You've got my vote and I'll try to drop in the next time I'm in town.

NOTE: To vote more than once for OOB, just vote, clear your cookies and temp internet files and repeat. Rack up the votes!

2003-07-06 03:19:56 PM
You got it OOB!

2003-07-06 03:20:11 PM
Voted OOB, obviously... jailarity ensues, now where's my free drink?

2003-07-06 03:20:53 PM
I propose that if Out Of Bounds wins this then he should take out a Fark classified with a link to a discount coupon of some sort. Just a limited time thing for Farkers and those who found the link through the classifieds...

2003-07-06 03:21:31 PM
So I voted for hooters, just because the hooter girls are always so nice to me everytime i go in, i bought the 2003 calander, and had all of the hooter girls at that ocation write little things on it. OH MAN WAS THAT EVER GREAT.
"maybe one day you can teach me how to drive a stick"
LOL, I own.

2003-07-06 03:21:45 PM
Sudie, I'm a block east of Broad and Boulevard.

Folks, farkers are always welcome. I'm usually hanging in the forum. E-mail me if you are coming into town. I'm always good for a round (assuming you're legal). And if you don't drink, our food is great.

2003-07-06 03:22:48 PM
You're on b0rg9.

2003-07-06 03:23:31 PM
That's not really an ethical business practice to ask someone whose never been to the bar to vote for it.

Shame, shame!

2003-07-06 03:24:20 PM
I voted for you, but you have to keep the little VCU kids out. And have something vegan. That is the one thing that sports bars hardly ever have.

2003-07-06 03:25:07 PM
Legal meaning "of age", or meaning "not on the lam"? I'm just askin'.

/shifty eyes

2003-07-06 03:26:58 PM
yeah, something meatless (im not vegan, but you should have that too). besides processed nacho cheese. sports bars need better food.

2003-07-06 03:27:23 PM
I was torn between hooters and dude, but I voted for oob.

2003-07-06 03:29:35 PM
So, does the old lady win the trip on this one too?

2003-07-06 03:30:15 PM
The bar looks cool. Whats it like owning a bar?

2003-07-06 03:30:50 PM
"I can't srink, but a farker is a farker. I voted"

Are you sure about that? The srinking I mean :)

And I voted. Yes for OOB.

2003-07-06 03:31:37 PM
I'm always good for a round (assuming you're legal).

I'll pay you extra if you card me. :)

Seems like a good location. You probably attract a lot of people from The Fan. Is the Joy Garden still there? I remember more than a few drunk nights eating that crappy chinese. Oh, and does Bill's Barbecue still exist on the Boulevard?

2003-07-06 03:32:02 PM
i just voted twice. clear your cookies and it's like a brand new day. farkers, nurture the dreams of other farkers.

2003-07-06 03:32:12 PM
OOB rox. The T-shirt is magical, yall.

2003-07-06 03:34:56 PM
I want to vote for you, but I need to see the beer list.

Twelve beers is a fairly low number, and I need to ensure quality.

Of course, one vote probably isn't worth your trouble, since the last time I was in Richmond I got mugged on Broad St. - I won't be returning.
