Great. 10-6. Should have been tied but for runners that felt more like dancing than running.

INeedAName: Who is this Suggs guy and when did he start playing for the Ravens, I don't recall hearing his name so far this season?

Not sure if serious...

Regarding these last few plays, though, I was thinking that the stupid rookie not realizing that he hadn't been called down would bite them. Crawl on the ground if you have to, dumbass- even 2 yards against these guys is no easy task.

cameroncrazy1984: I see Bruce Arians is going with the unpredictable run-run-pass down on the goal line.

More like "Hey diddly diddle, Rogel up the middle". Has he ever heard of a power sweep?

He's been around for a while, IIRC.

/field goal?

It was a joke Snake...he's been around for years and has been completely mediocre at best and has done nothing to get through anyone's line this year. However, this game he has pretty much set up camp in the Pitt backfield.

If Pittsburgh wins this it will be nothing short of a miracle the way the calls are going. You know, the ones they get all of all the time.

Scruffinator: Baron-Harkonnen:

Are you blind? That was CLEARLY helmet-to-helmet, not that it matters because the rule is you can't hit a defenseless receiver in the head regardless of what part of your body you use. That hit will definitely be a fine. It definitely wasn't intentional, but neither was Harrison'shiat on Massaquoi and the NFL has made it very clear intent doesn't matter.

Never gets old =D

Ha. And it always seems to make an appearance in football threads these days.

Im wondering if TBs QB will get a fine for the helmet to helmet hit he put on the grimes after he intercepted his last ditch effort to win?

2010-12-05 10:54:18 PM
T-Luv: I would agree if there's no fine for the hit on Miller. Just because he's not flagged doesn't mean there won't be a fine. Not all of Harrison'shiats that he was fined for were flagged on the field. It's not like he's the only one getting fined.

Harrison has been flagged for hits that weren't even a tenth of this one. His most recent on that QB, for example.

I'd wager the refs weren't paying as much attention to because of the dropped ball. Personally I hope the Ravens player gets a huge fine. Yes the guy ducked into it, but there's no excuse.

So Steeler fans aren't allowed to defend themselves against whiny Seattle fans who still think they were robbed? A game comes around that could prove the point and I'm calling it. Don't like it? Too bad!

Also, Peter King just tweeted: "The NFL is admitting the officials should have made the helmet-to-helmet call on the play that felled Heath Miller."

My concern was seeing Lewis limp off before the FG. The defense needs a breather and Joe didn't give it to 'em.
