Meh, he knows how to get the job done. Plus, I will admit, the fact that he's clearly not much of a Palinite, coupled with the fact that merely mentioning his name will get a liberals blood boiling, kind of makes him endearing.

in support of a conservative, free-market legislative agenda.

Starving poor children?

Putting black men in prison?

Conversely, you could say the same thing about Nancy Pelosi, too...

I'm sure you find her just as endearing.

Karl always struck me as more of a Thunderbird guy. He doesn't have the mullet needed to drive an IROC.

Santa, OTOH.....

Heh... Seems more like a Volvo kind of guy to me.

Certainly, this doesn't mean that the last election wasn't a referendum on the GOP platform, because it was. The fact that the GOP had enormous amounts of money to catapult their message has nothing to do with them winning because, as we all know, it was an educated and informed electorate that made a well-researched decision to elect the best people for the job.

And besides that, Karl Rove pisses off libs - so there's that.

American Crossroads, a "super PAC" that can raise and spend as much money as it wants, took in nearly $28 million in donations, weighted heavily with large contributions from financiers, oil tycoons and other wealthy individuals, according to filings with the Federal Election Commission.

Why poor people vote Republican is beyond me. If you vote for this party and you're NOT a financier, oil tycoon or other wealthy individual, you are a goddamn fool.

I feel the same way about George Soros and his ability to make "conservatives'" blood boil.

The fact that people who think Karl Rove has this country's interest in mind and who vote Republican make my blood boil.

You're all wrong. Karl is a Lincoln guy. '68 Conti, with the suicide doors, so he can throw 'em open while drive down the road, and take out the hobos and children with it.

Love him or hate him you have to give him credit for that last round of elections. He scammed a whole lot of lower middle-class people into voting Republican.

Just watch Fox News. It's real easy to figure out why if that is your only news outlet. They fawn over rich people. Lori Ingram said on Hannity last night that if you see rich people in the street you should hug them and thank them for creating jobs for us. It's the new serfdom, and the rich are the new royals.

Unemployment just hit 9.8%. There are millions of Americans right now who are hoping Rove can get the job done in 2012.

A pair of conservative groups founded with the help of Republican political guru Karl Rove raised more than $70 million since their inception last spring, making them the undisputed leaders of an onslaught of outside spending on 2010 House and Senate races, according to new disclosures Thursday.

Perspective people. Perspective. Goofy Christine O'Donnell raised that much without any help, with just a website, in one week. Karl Rove represents the past, he just doesn't want to admit it.

I never understood this argument. How is pissing people off constructive for the country? You can piss liberals off just as much mentioning Justin Bieber, but even the GOP wouldn't nominate him, would they?

From Bocanegra's link:

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The government's monthly labor report threw a curve ball Friday morning as November's job growth came in far lower than expected and the unemployment rate rose to 9.8%.

If you have a job, I suggest you do whatever it takes to keep it. Ladies, I'm looking at you.

Wow. It was at 9% in October. What happened in November that drove it up nearly a percent?
