An ill-informed rant on the internet? Now I've seen everything.

2003-07-04 07:28:39 PM
I'm going to plug my ears and cover my eyes. Good, now I can still hate the French.

You might find the French more tolerable if instead of plugging your ears, you plug your nose.

Alright, I've got all orifices covered now.

Is there anyone else in the US who has not partaken in this game of Shrub hates the French we hate the French? Since when did everyone start thinking with a single mind.

2003-07-04 08:47:53 PM
Since they started putting Borg implants in our apple pie. Where have you been?

Resistance is futile, Xtremehkr.

2003-07-04 11:44:17 PM
Wow, egg on your faces. It's funny, because everyone was like "OMFG, THEY DID THIS TO OUR VETERANS! STFU FRENCHY!"

Not that you'll care, because you'll still hate a country for no reason at all.

Think before you act, and you'll find out that fewer mistakes will be made.

/Wonders what random individual frenchmen and frenchwomen did to individual Americans.

2003-07-05 12:23:53 AM
It is a well known fact that the French sacrifice Christian babies on the full moon and drink their blood.

think I'm lying?
look it up on the internet

2003-07-05 12:24:23 AM
You blind-ass anti-Bush people act like everyone only started hating France four months ago. No, most of us (most of America, but Farkers in specific) ALWAYS hated France, you farking dumbasses.

2003-07-05 12:26:21 AM

Whew, I'm glad this is cleared up. For awhile I was worried in retaliation we would send the Statue of Liberty back to France.

"And those are the facts as I know them now. So, basically, while I stand by 95% of what I said in my rant..."

"Is there anyone else in the US who has not partaken in this game of Shrub hates the French we hate the French? Since when did everyone start thinking with a single mind."

Nobody really liked the French to begin with. It was more of a case of Shrub pandering to a feeling that was there to begin with.

Actually, I'm glad there's no Americans buried there. I don't trust those French around dead things.

2003-07-05 12:28:00 AM
I thought we had established this when the story was Boobiesed. Ill informed rant.

Still doesnt' excuse France's actions vis a vis the Iraq thing (how are the weapons sales these days, Pierre?)

Still doesn't make the populace of Cote d'Ivore any happier to see their old French masters try to straighten out the mess France has made of that country.

The only reason France wants the US in Liberia is so that they can have another venue in which to oppose us.

If Liberia truely does want US intervention, I hope we can help them with a minimal presence. If not, I hope we stay out.

that doesnt mean we hafta ilke them again.....there still funny lookn, funny smelln, funny actin, and goofy

Holy crap, I've been here too long to fall for that filter...

read that as "when the story was initially commented on"

I heart conservative blogs. Where else can some laptop potato cause a massive international incident?

2003-07-05 12:31:04 AM
Are yanks still calling french fries, french toast - freedom whatever? And if so, shouldn't they be free?

2003-07-05 12:31:40 AM
Free the little fries! Right into my mouth.

2003-07-05 12:32:33 AM
Well, all's well that ends well!

Oh, and mad propz to all bloggers who see fit to showcase all these travesties of justice! With all the crap the world's be spewing, it's good to know that these people are always looking out to bring this information home for our consumption! Even if they fly off the handle sometimes and jump to conclusions. But it's all in good intentions! What am I saying, I don't read blogs anyway, I don't give a durn

"I thought we had established this when the story was Boobiesed. "

Sorry, you just got me thinking of how mucj I'd like to be Boobsied, yet don't know how to. Can you give me any hints ?

2003-07-05 12:33:13 AM
Not that you'll care, because you'll still hate a country for no reason at all.

Sorry, but this is asshat-level commentary. Unless you call about fifty years of ingrained anti-Americanism permeating every level of French culture "no reason at all". Takes quite a genius to be ignorant of Gaullism and its lasting impact on French culture and politics to this day, but I'll be damned if you and a couple of others in this thread already haven't proven to be just such geniuses.

And I'm glad this guy was wrong and there was no America flag. It gives the French one less D-Day memorial to vandalize.

S Smookyfufu

Not that you'll care, because you'll still hate a country for no reason at all.

Seems fair. After all, Jaques announced before the war that France would oppose any measure the US proposed that involved actual punishment for France's best weapons and illegal tech clients in the whole wide world.

We have a very good reason. France decided that holding on to thier sales in Iraq was more important than working with the Western community to correct what was going wrong there.

To anyone who parrots "france was right" I ask, do you even know what the issues are you're talking about? I fvcking doubt it.

2003-07-05 12:35:27 AM
does this mean i can't french kiss anymore, cause i really like to! it just wouldn't be fair!

2003-07-05 12:35:34 AM
BULSH^T! If anything good is done in this world, you can bet your cock that AMERICA had something to do with it! It was AMERICA that won WW2 and it was AMERICA that had to bail everyone's asses out of the fire! If it wasn't for AMERICA, the entire world would be speaking kraut(except for AMERICA, 'cause those krauts would have sh#ted their pants at the idea of pissing off GOD'S CHOSEN COUNTRY).

/typical ass-kissing Bush-worshipping conservative

2003-07-05 12:36:05 AM
PHEW!!! Well I , for one , am glad that we cleared up this issue. This is the sort of thing that starts wars!

Just remember the Yogi Bear Steak Incident in Paris . Remember , and pray that it never happens again.

2003-07-05 12:36:29 AM
I like Americans...I just hate the not so bright American governments. Many people miss that, people around the world just really dislike American Politics.

2003-07-05 12:36:39 AM
i pretty much would just hate the french at random i think

Anyone ever tell you your profile pic resembles Dita Van Teese?

That's a compliment, btw. Not flirting, just making an observation.

2003-07-05 12:40:10 AM
Holy crap, an actual retraction made after somebody bothered to do some minimal research.

Anyone remember way back to the year 2001 when the cowardly traitorous French sent troops into Afghanistan alongside US troops? Alongside personnel from a dozen other nations, all of whom also declined to participate in our Iraq adventure? Why pick on just the French?

Smookyfufu Think before you act, and you'll find out that fewer mistakes will be made. What are you, un-American?

2003-07-05 12:41:51 AM
"Why pick on just the French?"

Hmm... how about "because Just the French have been so blatently anti-US just to be anti-US, without any valid justification other than "we want to feel important"

HOW DARE THOSE FRENCH OPPOSE THE WAR ON IRAQ

WHEN AMERICA GOES TO WAR WE DONT NEED NO PROOF

THAT'S THE AMERICAN WAY

OH AND IN 1938 WHO WAS FIGHTING HITLER'S FORCES ALONGSIDE THE FRENCH? THAT'S RIGHT! THE AMERICANS!

happygirl

Color me stupid.

I misspelled her name as well. Oh well.

Didn't want to accuse you of passing off someone else's pic as your own, so I assumed ... ah never mind. Good choice.

2003-07-05 12:45:43 AM
Why pick on just the French?
--------

Because they told us they would veto any vote on enforcing 1441 in iraq. So even if we got everyone in the UN to agree, the UN still wouldn't have "officially" backed us.

I would have loved to see a vote, just to see who our friends were.

2003-07-05 12:46:31 AM
Yes but people are mad that they tore down American Flags.

http://www.thedissidentfrogman.com/dacha/000185.html

If you look at the pictures there are missing spots for flags, if they were American flags that remains to be seen.

2003-07-05 12:46:52 AM
I'm sorry, I just can't hate a large group of people whom i've never met because of their government. If that makes me an asshat or unamerican, then I guess I am.

When you generalize and stereotype people, more problems come up.

I never said France was right, I just said whats the point of hating someone you've never and will probably ever meet? It's stressful and stupid. farking relax, twits.

2003-07-05 12:47:33 AM
I told you it was fake! hahaha

ha.

2003-07-05 12:48:10 AM
I don't have the French because the president tells me so (in fact.. he HASN'T told me so).
I just think the French are duplicitious little shiats who opposed action in Iraq because of oil leases, but are gung-freakin'-ho to have the U.S. get involved in Liberia.
37 military actions the French have taken without UN approval since the 1960's, but you know... we have to respect international law.
Then there's the whole Woody Allen/French tourism thing. The French aren't just lying little ratbags, they're just creepy. Jerry Lewis and Woody Allen as your screen idols? That's just nasty.

2003-07-05 12:49:18 AM
And who cares if they hate you? Big farking whoop. Are you going to wake up the next morning and die because Jean Pierre hates random Americans? Two wrongs don't make a right.

Move on with your lives.

And happygirl, stop being a cheerleader and come up with your own thoughts and words.

2003-07-05 12:49:46 AM
I like to give my hate a personal touch. People appreciate it more if you hate them for THEM and not because they're part of a group.

It's just one of my lil' quirks.

2003-07-05 12:49:49 AM
"You might find the French more tolerable if instead of plugging your ears, you plug your nose."

people who think the french smell have obvious never smelled americans.

2003-07-05 12:50:38 AM
This stuff is so predictable.

1: "I think we should all like the French."
2: "I don't. They're ungrateful, and, without America, we'd all be speaking German now."
3: "Actually the Soviets made the biggest sacrifice."
4: "What are you, un-American?"

And, repeat.

2003-07-05 12:50:44 AM
I don't hate the French as a whole, but I regard the French government as contemptable, and I regard french "patriots" who deface D-Day memorials (not this one, obviously) as less than worthy of respect.

I've never been fond of France due to their paranoid defense of their language/culture.

News flash, if your language and culture require legislation to survive, they should probably die.

2003-07-05 12:51:07 AM
Ooooooooh boy. This has flame-bait all over it.

Like I said before - the US and France will always be friends. It's like having a sister who is a whore. She may be a ho, but she's still your sister.

BTW - Guess which country I'm referring to as the "sister".

2003-07-05 12:52:03 AM
Who cares? Damn surrender monkey-frogs, what have they done for us lately? They hate America because they hate freedom. That's why the US Congress was so hilariously satirical in their renaming of french fries to freedom fries. It's funny because france hates freedom. Stupid French. They're so unamerican. Hey France! There are hundreds of boats and planes leaving this country every day! If you don't like America, then leave!

2003-07-05 12:52:17 AM

lets play a game of who can point out the "im a stupid american" irony in this post?
