(Worst Previews)   Remember the BIG cameo in Zombieland? The brains behind Zombieland 2 want to top that for the sequel (SPOILER ALERT for the first film... and possibly the second film)   (worstpreviews.com) divider line 81

That was Bill Murray's return to comedy after being a sad sack for over a decade.

Without giving away the possible spoilers in TFA, I hope they land the first name listed. That would be epic.

without reading the article, I'm going to guess Chevy Chase.

Nice try, but nobody will ever be able to make his career rise from the dead.

log_jammin: Chevy Chase.

came here to say that

I hope they nail it because the sequel to The Hangover is reportedly going nuts with the bit parts and cameos.

/Mark Zuckerberg for cameo!

have you seen his credit card commercial??? COMEDY GOLD!!!

That movie was dreck. They tried to do this likable geek thing with the main character but he was just irritating as hell. If it were the zombie apocalypse and I was Woody Harrelson I would've shot him in the face about 3 minutes in. The pacing was horrible, too. I think they were at about Rule #13 by the time the title card was shown.

Sell out. Like he was some starving artist with integrity before this.

Yawn.

I went to see Zombieland to watch them kill lots of zombies, not to see some lameass cameo. And that's the only reason I'll see Zombieland II.

2010-11-28 03:20:06 AM
Fark Zombieland II - all I want is to see the second season of The Walking Dead before the end of 2011.

2010-11-28 03:20:20 AM
My guess would be Jon Lovitz, whose career has been on life support since "My Stepmother Is An Alien"....

2010-11-28 03:24:19 AM
Why not OJ? he used to be funny on SNL, but he can also be kinda scary...

2010-11-28 03:27:02 AM
Burt Reynolds

2010-11-28 03:33:07 AM
The entire cast of "Dallas".

2010-11-28 03:33:34 AM
John Belushi would be amazing.

2010-11-28 03:37:44 AM
As long as Emma Stone returns, I could care less who they get for their cameo.

2010-11-28 03:45:39 AM
John Candy would be a pleasant surprise.

I was hoping for Chris Farley but Mr. Candy would work too.

Bill Murray was the worst and most unnecessary thing about an otherwise good movie. As usual.

Christopher Walken

Milla Jovovich, as a scared, suburban housewife. Not skilled at survival, just really lucky, and knew how to hide.

Tommy_04: Christopher Walken

Brrrr! He's creepy enough as a living being. I'd run screaming from the theater seeing a zombie Walken.

2010-11-28 05:33:04 AM
I would vote for James Woods.

2010-11-28 05:34:38 AM
I think they should have a cameo death clock that counts down the minutes from when Woody Harrelson meets the guest celebrity until Jesse Eisenberg accidentally guns him down.

2010-11-28 06:17:03 AM
George Romero.

2010-11-28 06:57:56 AM
Okay, both Zombieland and The Hangover scored big with perfect cameos. In both movies, it was a unexpected treat (I didn't read any advance press for either movie). Now, even before filming started on either sequel, the productions have been screaming from the rooftops that they will do it again.

Sadly, it won't work. Both sequels are banking so heavily on this stupid gimmick that it tells me they forgot to write movies that won't suck. As a bonus, telling us that there will be a big surprise in the movie kinda ruins the surprise.

She has to be a nudist. That's the only way that would work.

that's the tweest!

I would be ok with this.

log_jammin: actually.....I really like that idea.

Granted, they'd probably mess it up and make her a love interest for Woody. However, that's how they could get the nude scene into the script.

I try to forget the whole movie, actually. Which is quite easy, it being so forgettable.

gadian: Bill Murray was the worst and most unnecessary thing about an otherwise good movie

I will say this: the Bill Murray cameo dragged the movie to a screeching halt. It was funny, but it was totally out of place. I also knew it was coming, so that may have had something to do with it, but honestly- if a movie can't hold up on repeated viewings, it isn't worth a single viewing.

All that said: it was a minor and enjoyable speedbump in a fun movie.

Schwarzenegger.

You know what would be great: If the went into a house, and Willis and Stallone and Arnold and Dolph were there, and then...

Oh, never mind.

Or he did see his role on Community.

That movie was not good enough to warrant a sequel. Other than the cameo it was boring.

2010-11-28 10:55:27 AM
Shouldn't there be a statute of limitations on how long we have to worry about spoilers?

Why the hate on Chevy Chase? I'd say he's revived his career rather well on Community. Him and Obed usually have some of the best lines.

2010-11-28 11:25:30 AM
No one would top that cameo. Certainly not the guys they mention in the article. Just 'cause they're more respected (I guess?) actors wouldn't make their presence more interesting.

And as much as I loved Zombieland - zombie overkill is in full effect now.

2010-11-28 11:55:23 AM
Oh, another one. Gee. Wow.

Sorry, I love Chevy. (SNL, Caddyshack, Foul Play, Seems Like Old Times, Vacations 1&3, Fletch, Spies Like Us...they should have show horned him into Ghostbusters) but Community. I saw one funny episode but the last one with the stolen pen, Jesus that was tedious. I wouldn't say it was Chevy's fault though. The writing was horrendous.
