Man this story bums me out. The father is wounded, he just saw his wife killed, and while bleeding to death he has to stumble to a neighbors house for help - the most important thing in his mind is that his daughter is okay.

But this is exactly what the daughter wanted.

That's just depressing and makes me sad.
