second of all, there are a ton of these elephants all over town, Pittsford Wegman's has one with a cell phone, palm pilot and headset thing in front. They've been up for over a month. I'm pretty sure they're just trying to cause trouble over the fact that their elephant wasn't placed in front of thousands of ringling bros circus-goers.

Funny how they don't complain about other animals eating each other. Yet when people do it then it is horrible and unethical. The problem is that PETA people think they are superior to everyone and everything. Let's see them hang out with real animals (not like cows or otters) and see how superior they are then.

PETA does a lot of stupid things but I think on this one I agree with them. If you had a company and had an ad to go up at the Super Bowl and they put it in the wrong building I think you would be really pissed too.
They do say and do a lot of stupid things but most of the people on Fark are just on the other extreme and sound just as dumb.

innocent HUMANS are being killed every day in Iraq and all they can think about is a fiberglass elephant. What is more important to these deviants? An animals life of a human life? A few months back there was a National Eat an Animal for PETA day, Anyone remember when that was? There was a great picture associated with it too with a little white puppy looking up at the camera with a huge bold caption below stating "EAT ME!"

2) The headline writer did as bad a job of reading the article this time as the previous one did. They aren't suing over the treatment of the elephant, they're suing because they claim the city took steps to try and silence their message while the circus was in town.
