daRog: Uchiha_Cycliste: It makes it convenient to work and FARK.

Who the hell do you think you are? Mr. Multitask? Pfft.

BTW since you have TF now, go check out this thread. Some asshole got all cranked up and spewed a pantload of ani-gifs in there. It was weirdness for days, maaaan. DAYS!

I'll check it out when I have time to browse through it. Thanks!
Oddly enough I got my TF sponsorship from muck4doo yesterday in the Wheel of Fortune thread. Very convenient timing, eh?

Generally when I'm working, unless I'm intensely chasing signals in the RTL, I'll have a VPN tunnel open, FARK, gimp, winamp, sometimes be talking on the phone and also watching silly anime. Multi tasking rules. On a normal day, it's the only way to get in 8 hours of FARK while getting in 8 hours of work. Life is good.
But these aren't normal times, and I'm pushing 100-130hrs/wk right now. If it wasn't for you guys I'd prolly go mad[der]. Remember the LP lolz we had during Drew's butt-hurt thread? I was working from start to finish during that thread =/.

Uchiha_Cycliste: But there must be some other way! The original self-adhesive tape failed (spectacularly for what it's worth). What if were to try this. I can hang my two CRT's by their cords from the ceiling with hooks and pull them so that hey are near the ceiling themselves and will swing in an arc to hit each other (like pendulums).

I'd use zero- or low-elasticity cords, if possible, for greater precision. 3/8" static line should be sufficient.

I can place my tower right at the spot the monitors will impact, and I can place the template physically inside the tower (of course being certain to screw the case back together).
Will I be able to input the template to my computer when the monitors impact the tower?

I think so. Did you save the backing?

Don't worry if you didn't, you can get new backing (without templates) from the Customer Support site.

Can you friggin Imagine being that Tech support guy?

>How may I help you?
>Computer won't start.>.<
>Have you checked the power cords, and that it is turned on?
>Yup =/
>Have you tried a different outlet?
>No, hold on a few sec....
...
>Still didn't work.
>What was the last thing you were doing before it stopped working sir?
>I was trying to get a template into the thing! Nothing much.
>Can I ask how exactly you were trying to do that? Please be specific.
>Well, I opened up the tower, placed the template inside, screwed it back together, hung two CRT monitors from my ceiling as pendulums (placing such that they would impact each other) and put the tower at the impact point. Hey, do you think I used the wrong size cords to hang the monitors? Is it something I can still fix?
