Well, I'm convinced.

*scratches "see Bigfoot" off Bucket List*

What was really amazing to me was the audio. I only had one ear bud in at first and wondered why I could hear the announcer and not the guy talking. Why did they do that?

"It can't be anything else, I mean, it literally can't be anything else," said Greene.

That's some fine critical thinking work there, Lou.

So they can't get one good picture with a game cam?

"Maybe it can sense electromagnetic radiation" Wouldn't have picked up your thermal camera if this was so?

/Maybe bigfoot is just blurry.

Funny how he claims that he debunked hoaxes for 20 years to make us think, "well hey, this guy is legit"

Looks like the guy hired someone to put on a suit.

Why would he have the equipment positioned so far from the "bait" so that "bigfoot" took up a tiny portion of the screen?

Teknowaffle: Why would he have the equipment positioned so far from the "bait" so that "bigfoot" took up a tiny portion of the screen?

Dude, you don't get to achieve Bigfoot's notoriety by being unable to spot a bunch of thermal imaging equipment right on top of your ass.

If "Harry and the Hendersons" taught me anything, it's that the best Bigfoot bait is a fishwich and fries.

2010-11-02 12:43:32 PM
Bigfoot took technology courses at Ditech so he is up on all that stuff

He was using the WRONG bait!!!!

(Should have gone with "Chez McD")

Here's PROOF!!!!

Wait.., I'm from the NW. Sasquatch is a NW phenom. Isthis guy suggesting Bigfoot migrates?

Do news organizations allow middle school students to mix audio? Do they not know what "mono" is? Voices keep screaming at me from two different directions.

I thought you bait Bigfoot with jerky.

FTA: "We have, in the organization, maybe 200 game cams out looking for Sasquatches. We haven't got one lousy picture of a Sasquatch, which doesn't make any sense, unless you think that maybe these things are so smart that they either see the game cam," said Greene.

Yes, Mr.Greene; that is the only plausible explanation.

So he's looking for the money shot?

From Bigfoot?

I predict disappointment in his future... plus, the Bigfoot Money Shot = DO NOT WANT!

janzee: Wait.., I'm from the NW. Sasquatch is a NW phenom. Isthis guy suggesting Bigfoot migrates?

Bigfeet are sighted all over the country. Texas, Michigan, Missouri, Florida (but not Maine, curiously). Even Kansas has sightings. I've been reading old newspapers about Kansas sightings from the 19th century for the last few months.

Is he selling this picture anywhere?

Is he associated with Tom Biscardi?

Once we answer those two questions in the negative, I will give it some serious attention.

Also, the BFRO runs camping/bigfoot hunting 'expeditions'...Now that they are in the business of bigfoot, they have zero credibility, either.

Big whoop. I saw Bigfoot at the Metrodome about 20 years ago.

This isn't the first Bigfoot sighting in NC.

There isn't just one Bigfoot, its a whole species.

JusticeandIndependence: What was really amazing to me was the audio. I only had one ear bud in at first and wondered why I could hear the announcer and not the guy talking. Why did they do that?

I was amazed by their goofy use of stereo as well. It reminded me of the first stereo records when the sound engineers had no idea what to do with it.

Did the reporter really just use the term 'money shot'?
Still a skeptic.

Janzee:
Many sightings have occurred in the east. Outside the PacNW, the states with the most sightings are (iirc) Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida.

Hah, same here. I was too lazy to put on my headphones so I was using the left one and then the sound stopped.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. There's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Bigfoot is blurry, and that's extra scary to me.

The video has been on the net for a while so I don't think he is selling it and I'm almost positive he is not associated with Biscardi.

That audio track was unspeakably annoying - the audio equivalent of video effects like the ever-popular random speed-up.

Sounds like a movie trailer.

Bigfoot exists - ask anyone who has lived in Hoopa, California.

Well, there you go. Documented proof of the existence of bigfoot.

I'll believe it when one is shot and mounted in Cabela's. Does Boone and Crockett have a scoring guide for Bigfeet?

Why? Does Bigfoot own a condo there or something?

Cryptozoology may be marginal, but it is a valid scientific pursuit. Additionally, many eminent people, including Jane Goodall, have gone on record to varying degrees attesting to the possibility of the existence of large undiscovered primates in places where the Sasquatch myth exists.

Having said all that, this is faker than fake.

Somewhat semi-serious question. why is Bigfoot capitalized? Is that it's name, you know, like Cher and Madonna? I just thought it was what it was.

1st soldier with a keen interest in Bigfoot:
Where'd you get the Bigfoot?
King Arthur: We found him.
1st soldier with a keen interest in Bigfoot: Found him? In America? The Bigfoot's free roaming!
King Arthur: What do you mean?
1st soldier with a keen interest in Bigfoot: Well, this is a old growth forest zone
King Arthur: The Bigfoot may wander south with the sun or the Goatsee or the Yeti may seek colder climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land?
1st soldier with a keen interest in Bigfoot: Are you suggesting Bigfoot migrates?
King Arthur: Not at all. He could be carried.
1st soldier with a keen interest in Bigfoot: What? A swallow carrying a Bigfoot?
King Arthur: It could grip it by the fur!
1st soldier with a keen interest in Bigfoot: It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a five hundred pound Bigfoot.
King Arthur: Well, it doesn't matter. Will you go and tell your master that Arthur from the Court of Camelot is here?
1st soldier with a keen interest in Bigfoot: Listen. In order to maintain air-speed velocity, a swallow needs to beat its wings forty-three times every second, right?
King Arthur: Please!
1st soldier with a keen interest in Bigfoot: Am I right?
/etc....
