I bet we will hear more 'about' this very shortly.

2001-10-12 05:49:21 PM
Well. That's... nice. Umm... I'm off to Timbuktu now, thank you. Oh wait, it's Tigali now... BYE.

2001-10-12 05:49:30 PM
I hope I hear about these thieves getting caught or blowing themselves up only.

2001-10-12 05:52:23 PM
Ohhhh great, Stolen sometime between... That is what I like to hear. The company has no clue to what there are doing, or what is going on.

Grab your sheep and get the flock out of Texas.

2001-10-12 05:56:39 PM
Why don't they think that it was stolen by terrorists? Cause that would look bad, of course. It was stolen by...er...contractors. Yes, that's it!

2001-10-12 06:00:33 PM
If the US declared a war on contractors, would subcontractors be included?

2001-10-12 06:00:48 PM
The scary part is the very last sentence "The company said that they reported incidents like this in the past, but investigators are on heightened alert since the attacks" ahhh, how often does this happen? Perhaps they might consider a little SECURITY!!!!!

2001-10-12 06:01:56 PM
Ick. That article had a lot of bad writing.
Yes, that's it. Bad writing. Now I'm not so freaked out by the possibilities of terrorists near a large city with 700 lbs of shaped charges.
Bah.

2001-10-12 06:14:58 PM
This is actually pretty common. The gravel companies around where I live have lots of explosives and I think they keep them in an old rusty shed with no security, 'cus the stuff's always being stolen by kids.

2001-10-12 06:16:40 PM
dookey is funny!

2001-10-12 06:22:48 PM
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOMBAA

Personally, if they blow Texas off of the Earth, I would not mind.

2001-10-12 06:24:24 PM
Some people are alive only because it is illegal to kill them.....soon that law will change.....
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

2001-10-12 06:29:50 PM
MrTuffPaws. you cum catcher.

2001-10-12 06:32:05 PM
What in the hell is 700 pounds of fireworks doing in a whorehouse?

2001-10-12 06:32:43 PM
This company should lose its license to sell explosives.

2001-10-12 06:35:30 PM
Contractors? Wait, I'm a contractor!

[image from atlantic.photoisland.com too old to be available]

They obviously did not have a good enough theft deterent sign...

2001-10-12 06:42:26 PM
Now who the hell steals 700 pounds of safecrackers and then just goes and buries them somewhere? That doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

2001-10-12 06:43:44 PM
Hah. I love that sign.

2001-10-12 07:02:20 PM
Tuffpaws,

Where do you live that's so great? Let's see, Texas has a low cost of living, no state income tax and an economy that is laughing at the current "recession". Yeah Texas really sucks.

2001-10-12 07:09:53 PM
Ok, I'm blatently displaying my lack of common sense here, but to any explosive experts out there: How much damage can 700 lbs do? Are we talking city block, blocks, or more?

2001-10-12 07:14:47 PM
Blubble: Right On!
Tuffturd: go fark yourself!

2001-10-12 07:32:16 PM
Bullnut: shaped charges are designed to do precice damage.
When a demolition crew takes out a building, they use shaped charges.
however, 700 lbs, thats alot of BOOM!

2001-10-12 07:36:28 PM
That's a pretty big shed, and some pretty ambitious "kids"!

Well, New Years is coming.

Is there anything in Texas worth blowing up?

Just keep that shiat away from Mt. Rushmore, you jackheads!

2001-10-12 07:37:10 PM
Ah yes, All of the people from Texas are the ones who took offence to my comment. For some reason I saw that coming.

Personally, it is not the state of Texas that is so much to my disliking, it is the politicians that come from there. The fact that Texas produced Dr. Pepper, although close, still does not negate the above opinion. Hell, in fact I think I am going to order my FREE Texas vacation guide today. I have always wanted to own a coonskin cap from the Alamo.

BTW, if you click on my name, you will see my location.

explosives recovered

Well, NorCal does have Tahoe. That almost makes up for the rest ;)

Oompaloompa, maybe the Astros and their riduculous $300 million dollar stadium that they din't need and don't deserve. They probably shouldn't be blown up, but they do need a good ass kicking. Oh wait! The Braves already did that.

2001-10-12 08:21:13 PM
It's weird that terrorists are the new communists. Whenever anything goes wrong, media jumps on the fact that it could be a terrorist act. Don't get me wrong, the terrorists are horrible people, and need to be stopped, but it seems to me that we are only minutes away from blaming terrorists for stealing all those socks that I lost in the laundry. Surprise Surprise, bad stuff happens in the world besides terrorism.

sorry, </rant>. Continue with your regular farking.

2001-10-12 08:31:16 PM
How does 700lbs of explosives just disappear? Its not like you can carry it all out in a back pack or something..

2001-10-12 08:43:38 PM
Stolen explosives recovered. Too lazy to type complete address. I'm sure you can find it.

2001-10-12 11:31:04 PM
"The shaped charges are not explosive on the outside, only the inside"

Explodes in your mouth, not in your hand.
