Seeing this "Vote on Wrongday 34th" every election is starting to give me the same feeling I get every Christmas when I hear "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer".

TO AVOID DELAYS DUE TO EXPECTED HIGH VOTER TURNOUT, THIS YEAR REPUBLICANS WILL BE VOTING ON NOV. 2, WHILE DEMOCRATS CAN VOTE ON NOV. 3.

Not as bad as the GOP running ads explicitly telling Latinos not to vote.

I like how all of this garbage is dismissed as "silliness" and not called out as the deceptive corrupt bullshiat that it is.

Yes, the people are trying to torpedo their own campaign. That's a pretty shrewd move, lets see how that works out for them.

Pfft. He's just plagiarizing and not giving credit to the original source (new window).

Also, there is a mandatory $250.00 voting fee. Those who cannot pay the fee must submit to a background criminal investigation. Anyone that is found to have an arrest warrant will be taken into custody immediately.

And a friendly reminder that if you have ever been convicted of a crime or arrested by the police, you cannot vote.

Does the GOP really send fliers to democrats? Did even one democrat see these fliers?I have never received a flier from the democrats. So, what this article tells me is that the GOP sent the wrong date to 10,000 republicans or independents they think may vote for the GOP in Ohio.

How does this "steal" the election for the republicans? Anyone? Anyone??

bulldg4life: Is this the thread where we talk about "voter fraud" and blame all democrats for rigging elections?

You sir, you seem like you know it all. How many democrats received this flier?

/They used "That" over "WHo" on a billboard?!?!?!?! Diabolical. This will surly confuse all democrats into voting on the 4th. Does Obama know about this?

I am a registered Dem in Ohio and I get shiat in the mail from the Republicans all the time (at least during election season).

The answer is: you're BOTH idiots.

If either of you had RTFA, you'd know that this flier was sent by a Democratic candidate to his Democratic supporters. The GOP was neither involved in the error nor did anybody blame them for it. So sorry, but neither of your persecution complexes have been fulfilled.

um...what?

How does my question have anything to do with confusing democrats and the GOP?

Beavis up there was the one who went instant "victim" status on the thrad.

That seems like persecution to me right there. That's like 90% of his schtick.

he flier, given by Zack Milkovich and Frank Comunale to more than 10,000 voters, contained three other errors: a wrong date for the start of early voting and two misspellings.

Well if you want to get technical the fliers are correct if you're going to vote in 2014.

I wonder why there is no mention these were democrats?

I skimmed the first several "Paragraphs" and the only party mentioned is the GOP. Upon further review the word "Democrat" is not used in the article (With the exception of describing how a Republican farked up and used the democrat's picture).

So in closing, Eat a bag of dicks and shut the fu(k up.

Election day should be a national holiday.

That way more people would have the opportunity to vote and it would be hard to mistake which day is election day since car dealerships would make a big deal out of it.

I can't find the date for early voting in Ohio in 2008. Is it entirely possible these are retreads from the last election and no one bothered to proof them?

Garble: Election day should be a national holiday.

So everybody with an office job will be just as able to vote as they already are, while everybody who works service industries will be extra busy and their boss won't give them time off?

That's Guinness-level brilliant right there.

Minnesota Republican party mailed me an unsolicited application for an absentee ballot, it arrived today. Seems like there is no chance for it to be mailed, processed, AND receive my absentee ballot by Tuesday.

I am chalking it up to stupidity on their part and not attempted disenfranchisement. Still voting for at least one R in a local race, neighbor and proud of his vote for Franken.

If you notice, when the article mentions errors made by an individual, they mention his or her name; when the error was made by a group, they name the group that made the error.

Actually listing the affiliation of the persons who made errors would be more partisan than what they did.

Don't get worked up over silly things like this, you'll get a heart attack.

Yup. Then they wonder why most Latinos hate the GOP.

That's because the Republicans and Teabaggers aren't corrupt. It was the liberal printer who made the mistake.
