I see what you did there, sub by!!

2010-10-27 06:56:01 PM
That's vile. Makes me ashamed to be the same species as whoever did it.

2010-10-27 10:07:28 PM
Now cut that out, subby

/+1 of course

Verdon says that the same man who vandalized her home nearly a half-dozen times recently could also be responsible for this gruesome act of animal cruelty.

If I suspected my neighbor of cutting someone's dog in half and depositing it on my lawn, I would be very VERY VERY scared of what might happen.

I would like to see /b/ find dirt on the dude like the cat tossing chick and get him sent to prison at least.

2010-10-28 11:23:13 AM
What. The. fark.

2010-10-28 11:23:20 AM
If someone did that to one of my dogs they would never find all the pieces of that said person, and I'm make sure they were alive as long a possible while I worked.

This is a candidate for HOY in the "context" section.

Also, this was saved by the voting tab. Good call, TFers.

So this was submitted yesterday around 6pm and just got green'd this morning?

Slow day mods?

Not your veterinary army.

Hello, I wish to buy a license for my pet dog, Eric.

It was originally redlit, but a lot of votes made me notice it.

If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go hug my pets now and give them treats.

2010-10-28 11:28:12 AM
Sad story.

Funny headline.

Up and Atom: If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go hug my pets now and give them treats.

Me too. An article like this ruins my whole day.

He was scared, and hurt, and then he died.

I fully expect farkers comments to be split down the middle on this one

2010-10-28 11:28:32 AM
Man, that sucks. I hope they can pick up the pieces and put their lives back together.

2010-10-28 11:29:44 AM
Oh Jesus. What the fark. Who does that?

Was the dog cut lengthwise, along the spinal axis, or widthwise, along the hipular axis?

2010-10-28 11:30:37 AM
RIP Jake Locker. He was so full of unrealized potential.

2010-10-28 11:30:51 AM
It doesn't mention any other sort of injuries. So how did they restrain the dog whilst sawing? Did it just sit there? That's the part which is disturbing me the most right now.

2010-10-28 11:30:54 AM
Funny or sick? I'm divided on this one.

2010-10-28 11:30:58 AM
There went any chances of me having a good morning.

2010-10-28 11:31:18 AM
Enuratique: Was the dog cut lengthwise, along the spinal axis, or widthwise, along the hipular axis?

Widthwise, I assume. There'd be way too much damage for a dog to be easily identifiable if you did it the other way.

Jesus why am I thinking about this.

Great headline Subby..

on the other hand.. I honestly wish it had never been greenlit as I am now sick to my stomach at the cruelty of people.

2010-10-28 11:32:04 AM
Whoever did it needs to be tied down sawed in half and then lit on fire.

headline left me in stitches

Maybe it died of natural causes, and a good samaritan, returning it to what he mistakenly thought were the rightful owners, cut it in half in order to make transporting the already deceased dog easier.

2010-10-28 11:33:07 AM
Maybe it was due to natural causes

Schadenfreude ist die schoenste Freude: Whoever did it needs to be tied down sawed in half and then lit on fire.

I think the other way around would be better.

The husky community weighs in:

petru.paler.net

Much like in the article, this one appears to be half husky.

2010-10-28 11:34:39 AM
Did the dog try to bury his own bones?
He's half the dog he used to be!

but seriously, this is sick & disgusting, and whoever did it should be found & brought to justice.
People who display this sort of cruelty to animals can easily become murderers.

You gotta somewhat admire the person who did this. Sawing a dog in half can't be an easy thing to do.

When the pet store had the 50% off sale and said "All items slashed in half!" I didn't think they meant it so literally.

Didn't even RTFA and I know what happened.

Big props to you subby!
