And that Major who says he's going to help you out? He may not be quite on the up and up.

You're better off finding a doctor who can help you out instead.

Rustico: Glenn Beck might be interested in this news.

The infected only attack other people if they hear them talk. All one has to do is keep their mouth shut. Glenn Beck is toast.

A never-before detected strain of virus that killed more than one-third of a monkey colony at a U.S. lab appears to have 'jumped' from the animals to sicken a human scientist, researchers report.

4 down, 8 monkeys to go.

A new virus, huh? It's like God is constantly creating new things. Because evolution is obviously a lie from the devil.

I've got a list of people I plan on 'saving' and sacrificing as zombie bait in order to further my escape plans.

If you do happen to go outside and find a zombie horror, find some place safe with a lot of supplies. Like a shopping mall.

If it's like the Star Trek franchise, 28 Decades Later is going to be awesome.

Jesus weeps for the purveyors of falsehoods and those that fall victim to their lies.

I know you're probably not serious, but these ends justifies the means liars for Christ need to stop. Science has shown that a literal interpretation of the Bible creation story is incorrect.

So, the religion must adapt (as Catholicism has), or be brushed aside, much like we have brushed Zeus aside as thrower of lightening bolts.

Did they not learn this lesson with AIDS?

STOP HAVING SEX W/ TEH MONKEYS PEOPLE.

YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE THAT MONKEYS BEEN

WHEN YOU SLEEP WITH A MONKEY, YOU'RE SLEEPING W/ ALL THE OTHER MONKEYS AND SCIENTISTS THAT MONKEY HAS SLEPT WITH

They need to start covering this in high school health class I think. Well... Texas won't but no scientists come out of there anyways.

As much as you've brushed Zeus aside. Me? I'd rather not piss him off and have him either kill me with a lightening bolt or start banging my wife.

Though I do prefer Thor as my god of thunder (and general lack of anger management).

Well... good thing I picked up that Mossberg 500 recently, I guess.

Kinda wish I'd have stocked up on some 00 sooner though, all I got is sport/bird shells.

Either way, who cares? Just gotta find the stashes people leave around, as we learned via video games!

I never thought I'd live to see a day where Catholicism is seen as a progressive religion and yet... here we are.

Anyone see that new zombie series coming out on AMC called The Walking Dead? They showed a commercial and I couldn't believe they lifted the exact same sequence as the beginning of 28 days later....guy wakes up in hospital alone, etc. Other than that, I'm intrigued.

As do I. His fishing prowess is nothing to be laughed at either.

All things considered, that guy could have lived in the hospital for a couple more months undetected, or at least until everything died off. He'd have every drug and antibiotic known to man for his personal use and never be bothered about showing up late for anything ever again.

There is no evidence the virus has spread beyond the single scientist - who recovered from her illness - nor is there even proof that the virus would be transmissible between humans.
Isn't that what they always say just before the zombie outbreak?

Walking Dead is based off a comic book which was roughly a month or so away from releasing when 28 Days Later came out. They are definitely similar, but not purposely so.

At least the zombie outbreak is just in time for Halloween! It'll be fun guessing which is a real zombie and which is a fake zombie just looking for candy!

as pointed out in other threads on the topic, the "Waking up in a hospital and finding the whole world has gone to shiat" thing dates back to Day of the Triffids.
