All of this just to find out that the Bert is Evil site is no more which is the true tragedy of this article. Bert IS evil, dammit and we need to see this site come back.

"Mostafa Kamal, the production manager at Azad Products, the Dhaka shop which made the posters, told AP news agency that he had got the pictures from the internet.

He said they had not noticed anything unusual about them at the time,..."

Bert shows up in distant photos of the poster, how could the person who "dezined" it not notice a bright yellow puppet on there? Expect to see this guy on Darwin Awards sometime real soon.

Its good we have important things like this to worry about.
2001-10-13 01:42:02 AM
Umm.. "Mostafa Kamel" sounds an awful lot like a made-up name... I think someone's pulling the BBC's leg.

I hope they kill this son-of-a-beetch just so I don't have to hear about him every-stinking-day.

Which part of the camel smells worst ?

Most of a camel .
2001-10-13 03:26:43 AM
I think Mostafa Kamal is pronounced like "Must have a camel." Could very well be a fake name.
2001-10-13 03:44:23 AM
Nahh, nobody has fake names here on fark.
2001-10-13 08:50:40 AM
Mostafa Camel is from "Carry on up the Khyber"
2001-10-13 08:53:04 AM

I haven't stopped laughing ever since I first heard about this. Does anyone else think this is the absolute farking most hilarious thing that has ever happened!

Think about it! There are thousands of militant extremist Muslims throughout the world just burning with hatred for America - and they're protesting in the streets with friggin posters of Bert!

Am I the only one here????? This isn't some SNL skit. This isn't some Leslie Neilson flick. This is REALLY happening!

What's really amusing is that all of this tomfoolery is coming from pro bin Laden supporters. :P
