Every game that W has been in the owner's box with Nolan, the Rangers have lost.

Coincidence...or CURSE?

Time to step onto the mound, Nolan.

I'm still so goddamn mad about the Rangers crapping the bed last night that I can't get sufficiently angry about the fact that Colby Lewis is going to get f*cking drilled tonight.

Yanks in 5. And boy, does that piss me off.

So, the historical stats regarding seven game series. These numbers do not take into account home field advantage.

Teams that win the first game are 90-53 (63%) for winning the series. The winners of the first game are 70-73 (49%) in the second game.

Teams that win the first two games are 56-14 (80%) for winning the series. These teams are 32-38 (46%) in the third game.

When the first two games are split, the winner of the second game is 39-34 (53%) for winning the series. These teams are 40-49 (45%) in the third game.

you'd think on a 3 man starting rotation that Texas would have somebody that didnt crap the bed in relief.

The Curse of Dubya, Yankee MagicTM...ohhhhh yeah.

"The Rangers turn to?" Wasn't the pitching rotation set before the series even began?

To quote Mick Foley, the Rangers bullpen lacks "testicular fortitude".

Yanks in 4 or 5, and Cliff Lee will be seen in the Yankees clubhouse when they're celebrating.

This is the deciding game. Rangers lose, it is completely over.

Hughes is damn good, but maybe he'll pull a CC. And in that case, can the Ranger's bullpen NOT have a playoff meltdown?

This game will be exciting. I'm pullin' for the Rangers. Something like 5-3 or 7-4 or 7-5 score.

To quote Shawn Michaels, the Yankees "lay down for ab-so-lu-te-ly noooooobody."

Still think it's going six.

Lewis has better stats than Hughes, subby.

W/L is a dumb way to compare pitchers.

Only a cubs fan would say this, considering the game hasn't even been played or series finished.

Come back when you actually reached the world series n00b.

CURSE! Everything that man touches turns to crap!

I know he's a former owner and U.S. President, but for the love God, would someone at that ballpark PLEASE ban W's ass? Or, do the Rangers LIKE not going to the World Series?

Yeah, Lewis also walked shiatters against Tampa Bay in the ALDS (just saw the stat). Try doing that against the 900 trillion dollar yankee lineup. This guy won't make it past the 4th inning.

While I would love to be overconfident and say that in light of last night's stunning comeback, the Yankees will take the series in 4 or 5.....I can't bring myself to do it. I still think it's going 6. I would love to be wrong, of course. I just think that the Yankees have a bad habit of following a game like that up with a dud and I don't want there to be a billion metric tons of pressure on Andy for Game 3 against Cliff Lee.

Whatever happens though, I don't want to see Cliff Lee twice in this series. He scares the hell out of me.

The Cubs have reached the world series. They've even won a few.

If Phil could pitch today like he did against the Twins, hot damn would that be wonderful.

If Each Molina has three sons, we're maybe two generations away from having a nearly all Molina at C MLB.

Coco LaFemme: If Phil could pitch today like he did against the Twins, hot damn would that be wonderful.

He'll pitch well enough to win. The Yankees will hit their way to a win today.

It's a beautiful day for baseball, and I am hopeful Colby can be effective, but for how long, I just don't know....

1-2-3 inning for Colby, time to match it, Hughes.

I don't know how I feel about the announcers overuse of "Antlers." I thought it was more of a fan thing. Still pulling for the Rangers.

*facepalm*

Put Cervelli in there for the rest of the playoffs. Let Posada DH. Yeah, he ain't much better, but he's not gonna do that.
