Uh, didnt England beat the all blacks last week? Hardly the first test of the season for the all blacks.

Ok, At first I thought it was just me, and noticing all the NZ news stories, cus that's where i live. But really, it does seem to be disproportional.

But well done fark on really upto date news. I just got home from watching the game at the local uni bar. Ah, there's nothing like watching the All Blacks kick some arse with druken students who've just finished exams.

I think its great New Zealand gets alot of attention here on Fark! I mean there is a huge number of kiwi supporters of this site. The reason this has been reported on is probably the fact that it is actually a world cup game (as opposed to the american footballs idea of "world cup").

Yeah full respect to the English with their roo bashing! English looking strong for the world cup this year - season still early though and alot of players still getting used to playing alongside one another as opposed to the history behind this english team.

I never cared for rugby when I lived in New Zealand, but I so want the All Blacks to win the World Cup this year! We need to win SOMETHING.

I'm an American so I know virtually nothing about rugby, but 55-3 sounds like an awful trouncing in ANY sport except golf. I think the losing team should try their hand at something else.

The Welsh have beat the All Blacks before...a province of Wales...back in the 50s..or later...either way...years before, well this. Its alright..the Canadians lost to the Americans recently....and they didnt even qualify for the world cup.

I am a black, and I didn't participate in this dragon slaying. My dues are paid up, I'm not sure why I didn't get the memo from black central.

Boondock-Saint,Xtremehkr, the Welsh beat the All BLacks way back in the days, onb the 1906 tour, (or was it 1903... a long time ago anyway), it was a dodgy call from the ref that cost us the game, and the only match we lost on the 36 match tour. Mind you, 35 matches from 36 isn't a bad record. And this was back when the taffies were world class rugby players... what can I say, the ABs were made up of rugged farming blokes from Taranaki, Wairarapa and the McKenzie basin while the Welsh were just coal miners!

Yes, the good old days of rugby tours, mid-week games and all.

Good to see the AB win! Pitty about last week. Roll on World Cup where we will smash the POMS ;)
