Hey, just checking, does Haley's comet fly by today?

That's not right. The calendar year cycles, and with leap years thrown in, October having 5 weekends happens a lot more frequently than that.

It happens every time the 1st falls on a Friday. That is, about once out of every seven years. For October. Counting all the other 31-day months in a year, most years have some month with this feature.

Oh yeah? Well,

The moment in time where you first read that X took the entire history of the universe to arrive at. And it will never happen again in the entire history of time. Think about that.

And I'm not going to give subtard a click to his stupid, stupid blog.

So why are we submitting intentionally stupid fictions?

I know it isn't right, even without having read the article, because I was looking at a perpetual calender not that long ago. My father laboriously hand lettered one to be used on the back of a diptych compass he built. He can tell direction, time, and date with it, and it never needs batteries.

chrisco123: But I still only get two paychecks. At least they're for $47406.25 each...

I get paid three times - on the 1st, 15th, and 28th. Hooray for me!

Not that it actually changes anything, as my spending is based on weekly expendatures, not monthly.

First thing I did was look at the annual calendar on the wall and say "That can't be right.. January & October always match in non-leap years".

So I guess I was one of the suspicious few but for the wrong reason. This is why you show your work in math, people. Partial credit = $

And the world as we know it will end October 31st.

I have seen it.

One giant candy fueled orgy of death and destruction as children rise up against their parents, and establish a new world order.

And this shadowy being shall lead it.

That's either depressing or awesome, depending on how you look at it. I'm getting married October 30th, so until death do us part won't be too hard to stick with.

Sucks to be you, 3 paychecks here, and no deductions for benefits out of the third one for some reason!

Too bad it's a new job and i just got my first paycheck after almost a month of working here. Payroll needs to be beaten severely for their errors.

I've seen this forwarded in emails and posted on other sites. I'm curious if the person who started this did it on purpose? I guess they had to.

I'm no rocket surgeon, but I'm pretty sure Jupiter is a hell of a lot bigger than the moon all the time. So is Mars, before you ask.
