Triaxis: More crap from the Comminington Post. WTF cares what Garrison Keillor thinks?

Many more people than will ever admit to even having been in the same zip code as you.

GameSprocket: themanfromlamancha: Franken has been reprimanded twice already for behavior unbecoming a Senator on the floor

And yet, I can't seem to find any reference to even one such reprimand. Perhaps you can provide one?

Apparently Mitch McConnell crying like a little girl counts as a reprimand these days.

WxAxGxS: Franken can be a dick and Klobuchar can be a ditz so long as they continue to represent me and my fellow residents with the passion, dedication, and integrity that they have. So, as you've been asked before, can you present any honest criticism of the people you're attacking?

Don't forget the alternatives to them. Instead of Klobuchar we could have had Kennedy, Bachmann's precursor. Instead of Franken we could have kept Coleman, the lying political turncoat (suuure he didn't switch to the Republicans so he could have a party's endorsement when running for governor - and I'm a Chinese jet pilot) who was left stammering by Ventura.

Republicans have somewhat of a monopoly on bat-shiat crazy right now. The problem is Democrats are pathetically timid and politics are a game where notoriety is most valuable. It doesn't matter if you're not the sharpest tool in the shed, or just downright insane; if you make a lot of noise, your chances improve.

Rand Paul is a good example. Jack Conway, the Democrat, should be an appealing choice in this red state, as he's fairly socially conservative, but Paul has a national profile, which is what keeps him ahead in the polls. Conway has not managed to make any kind of lasting impression, positive or otherwise.

Bachmann is nuts. She has no viable solutions for absolutely anything and is an embarrassment to us all, but she will remain in Washington as long as she maintains he notoriety.

Wow, I just took this guy at his word for it... Apparently I give neocon's too much credit. Butthurt Republicans demanding a reprimand != receiving a reprimand.

/Franken can continue to be a dick so long as he maintains his devotion to the state of Minnesota and the nation as a whole.

Man: [quietly] Well, sir, it has been an uneventful week in Badger
Falls...where the women are robust, the men are pink-cheeked, and
the children are pink-cheeked and robust.
[Audience laughs loudly]
Homer: What the hell's so funny?
Man: At the Apple Biscuit cafe, where the smiles are free, don't you
know, Sven Inqvist studied the menu, and finally he ordered the
same thing he has every day.
[Audience laughs and applauds]
Bart: Maybe it's the TV.
Homer: Stupid TV. [Hits it] Be more funny!

I don't know, she looked good in Eurotrip even if the movie sucked, and I didn't have any trouble with the character of Dawn.
