What happened to the pronouns here? If she really is trans and identifies as female, it'd be polite for everyone to call her a she and not a he, author of the article and people interviewed included. And yeah, Lord Jesus Christ might identify as male, it's never said, but trans men don't tend to fem it up.

More likely, since the author's calling himself The Republican--which sounds like the superhero Tucker Carlson turns into--he probably wrote it like that just to reassert what he thinks are proper gender norms. In which case, wow, that's some privilege he thinks he holds over other people's identities.

I know, I know, this isn't a concept I think will go over too well here, but these are medically recognised conditions, and not in a "we need to cure your brain" kind of way. If she's a she, you being grossed out by the whole deal isn't going to change that.

Exactly. I find it hard to disbelieve that someone who's appearance screams "I'm an attention whore!" also acts like one. I'm sure the clothes do ruffle a few feathers, the article has said as much and that the library now posts "appropriate dress required" signs, but the bigger issue seems to be that Jesus goes out of his way to bother people personally. I thought that was supposed to be reserved for his followers.
