One thing I never could stomach about the movie industry...

... all the damn sequels.

I believe everything Corey Feldman says. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to pop my copy of "Goonies 2" in the DVD player...

Keep telling yourself - "There is no third one, there is no third one".

I'm still waiting for someone to release the second Matrix movie.

I'm still trying to forget there was a 1st.

Alright, as a middle-schooler it was entertaining.

Pretend I didn't admit that.

Wouldn't "box office" mean that they actually made it to movie theaters?

+ 2

My own Lost boys movie, wanting 5 bloodsucking sequels that do, in fact, suck alltogether. You wait till mom finds out!!!!!

I worked at the Boardwalk Spring/Summer of 91, area 3 (Log ride). Across the mouth of the river, there is a cut out made by the city for something or other. Tourists used to ask me if that is where the vampires lived.

Sigh. They also used to look at Monterey across the bay and ask if that was Hawaii.

Wait .. there were three Lost Boys movies to begin with?

2010-09-23 06:51:35 PM
I made it through about 15 minutes of the most recent one, then slipped into a coma for 2 days while my brain healed itself.

"The Road Warrior"
"Aliens"
"Godfather 2"

/...I could go on (but not for long)
//I would much prefer a reboot of "Near Dark"

One Bad Apple: "The Road Warrior"
"Aliens"
"Godfather 2"

C'mon, I *had* to be facetious here and work that quote in somehow.

Love all those movies.

There's just a glut of needless sequels.

Road House 2: Last Call, for example...

*shudders*

Heh!

Well played!

That could definitely work as a TV series, as long as it's on cable. Sons of Anarchy meets True Blood meets The Fugitive.

It's okay, the first one is a good movie.

Its true sequel is the popular series, 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.

Yeah, I hear they're going to make a third Godfather movie. The first two were great, so you know the third will rock!

There was a second half to Lost Boys?

You guys kinda have it here. The key is knowing when to quit. I never saw Lost Boys II or III, why would I? The first films ending was one of the best movie endings ever....

On a similar vein I Loved from Dusk Till Dawn. Lost total interest in the sequel when I discovered that Clooney nor Lewis would be involved. I'd have been skeptical even if they had signed on but without them it wasn't the same thing at all.

What you did there, I saw it.

I can say unabashedly that I loved the lost boys

I can't believe im the only one who really liked the matrix 2 (sans rave concert) and 3. Infact I liked 2 better then the first. 3 is an all around nice compleationist with great eye candy.

The only sad thing is how much farther they could have taken the matrix universe. The animatrix was just the tip of the ice berg, you could have done movies, tv series, direct to video releases, and books (ala .hack series) with different story lines and time periods.

Man, I need to think of everything.

With a bit of retconning, the Terminator, Matrix and Dune franchises can all be the same universe.

Strangely enough, that doesn't look terrible. Then again, I love b-movies, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
