She's starting to look like the cat woman, and I don't mean Halle or Julie.

Seriously, though, WTF is wrong with people?

As a professional cook... fark you, Madonna. Stay at home and have your personal chef cook for you there. You go out to eat in order to eat the food of that particular chef.

It's like when my redneck relatives insist on bringing a po-boy to a sushi restaurant. No class.

The tourists though will flock to any restaurant mentioned in the article in hopes of seeing Madonna or just being able to tell the folks back in Jackson Co. that they ate at the same place Madonna brought in her own chef!

Chefs and cook working at these places will absolutely hate this but the managers and owners, who outrank them, love it.

It's more that they have more money than they know what to do with, and there are many people out there who would gladly lick their taints in exchange for a few hunny.

I don't see a problem with a shrimp po-boy at the sushi house.

But, I'm with you on the rest of this. What restauranteur/chef woudn't say, "Welcome to my kitchen. Here's a beer. There's a stool in the corner, have a seat."

I'd rather go to a restaurant that does not cater to any whim of a celeb. When we stop treating them like they are better then us, then this crap will stop

She brought her personal chef to the Japanese restaurant, but that's all that it says. If she ordered the chef into the kitchen to oversee or assist in the food preparation, I can understand why some would have a problem with this. But if her chef was just there to dine with Madonna, then what's the problem?

2010-09-23 04:26:54 PM
I was a cook for 8 years. If someone tried to bring their personal chef when I was running the kitchen, well, if it was during a rush then 'No', but if it wasn't busy, fark ya, and cook me something up also mang.

Hell, I'd be satisfied with a personal food overseer. Someone to keep an eye on whether people are washing their hands as they prepare my food.

Out of all the crazy things out there paying someone to make sure your food is neither contaminated or improperly prepared seems like one of the sanest.

To be fair, if I were a celebrity, and people were just dying to become "the guy who put his pubes in *celebrity*'s food" I'd want someone to make sure that my food was pube-free too.

Clearly (at least according to the article) that's not Madonna's goal here, but it does have to be considered. But yeah, if you're on a special diet that requires a special chef, then don't go out to eat.

As long as everyone is getting paid for their services she can stick a feather up her ass and call it macaroni for all I care. I save my indignation regarding the actions of strangers for the ones who hurt people.

How in the hell does she find restaurants willing to let an outside chef into the kitchen. Most chefs I know are very territorial and wouldn't let this happen without blood being spilled.

2010-09-23 05:32:08 PM
So let me get this straight. The poor sap has to learn someone else's kitchen, invade their space AND provide a tasty "meal" for the she-hag? Dude, you couldn't pay me enough to put up with that crap.

Where in the article did it say that her chef went into the kitchen?

doesn't that defeat the purpose of going to a restaurant in the first place?

that was the conclusion I came to.

also, maybe this was a Benihana type restaurant and she just had her guy replace the guy making the onion volcano.

Did the article say the chef was in the kitchen?

All I saw said she was eating there with her chef.

yeah no kidding. She has seen and had more cock than a rooster farmer. Eating soy and rice cakes can't erase years of dirty dick. She was a nut dumpster extraordinaire and I'm sure she took on some real pretty bacteria with rodman alone. She is looking more and more haggard by the day. And she's only like 50. She looks like a pretty gross 50.sad what all the miles have done to her.

I wonder how many black children she will adopt in disgust of herself and what she has become.

I worked at a restaurant and some lady brought pam spray and wanted the chef to use that. The chef complied but I could see a lot of places telling her to get the f*ck out.

Hugh Hefner does this too. If he's eating at a restaurant his personal chef will either deliver his meal from home, cook it in the restaurant, or arrange for the chef to cook it to Hefner's specifications.
