I'm sure a few would but most Americans don't actually hunt and I would be most of the ones that do are fairly responsible.

The backwoods American hunters would be more likely to kill it but we're talking so backwoods that nobody even knew about this creature until 1992.

Well, you're not going to do any good posting it here. They don't speak English.

In what way was this critter a "unicorn?" it had two horns, not one. They didn't even take the time to saw off one of the horns or do some plastic surgery on the animal to make it look like a unicorn. At the very least, Photoshop it.
