According to the BBC the reason he has given is that they have agreed to relocate the Islamic community centre. The group behind it is saying that it agreed to no such thing.

I wonder if this is a stunt. Publicly claim that the move was agreed, then start spreading hate speach about "THOSE DARN LYING MOOSLINS" whenever they then come out saying that they never said such a thing.
