It's great if used properly. I use it to keep tabs on sports beat writers who may have some info that does not warrant a story for their respective media outlet, but is of interest.

Also, following game devs and the like can be pretty interesting if they stay on point.

But most people use it to tweet things like "OMG ROFL. just tuk a dump..lukd like a Stuckeys pecan log!"

Cona's tweets are funny.

And at least 5% of Fark's showbiz bandwidth.

This. Pretty sad when Fark's headlines are lamer than the articles being made fun of.

If Justin Bieber plops his skinny ass down on your toilet, you better get the plunger ready.

He BEEFS. He'll drop 5 or 6 forearm-sized logs in there with no flushes in between.

Rumor has it that backstage on his recent tour he used to shiat in the shower and heel it down the drain to save time.

Marla Singer's Laundry: His hair looks like an infected foreskin.

Why can't that be the new meme? "infected foreskin hair boy" or something? I say we get it started..... WHOS WITH ME?

I don't know what a Justin Beiber is, but I submitted this yesterday with an almost identical headline.

It's only one or two people. They seem to think a forced meme is the same as an organic meme, or a viral meme.

/wish there was an ignore option for headlines

It's a massive searchable pile of information, there's some value. You can get popularity trend information, tons of marketing information and even some interesting social survey information. It's about as close as we have to getting unfiltered random thoughts from millions of people.

At least he keeps generating Fark headlines based on a lame assed meme.

I don't know what the fark twitter hate is all about.

Seriously, if you follow people who keeps doing the wole PA stuff like "Poop is coming out" then you shouldn't be following them, or even friend them.

I follow close friends who actually have something to say, traffic reports (on a list so it won't clutter my main screen), fellow friends with whom I used to protest with and some local breaking news twitter feed that actually posts like 4 tweets a day with important/relevant news.

It's there on my phone, whenever I'm bored, or waiting in line at the market or something I start reading.

The hate in here comes from, PA, Awful twitter stories from idiots who follow idiots (like paris hilton, lindsay lohan, justin bieber or whatever tweet) and just plain resistance to changes/technologies.

/Cue the "Welcome to Fark"

Apparently the drones who approve these headlines think it's still comedy gold, because they keep greenlighting 'em. Personally, the meme outlived its humor after the first time it was posted.

There is...don't click or post in them. We can all read the headline, just don't click on it. If few or no one clicked or posted on the threads with this meme the mods wouldn't greenlight them anymore. This site is driven by ads and clickys, no? The thing has 27 posts now. I bet half are from people biatching, or replying to people who are biatching about the meme.

/my post included.
