Well, the only reason people seem smarter in the North is because there's a better educational system and less religious superstition that looks down on intelligence as worldly. Plus we don't marry our sisters.

Not sure on that, the south still has the Death Penalty up here we give our convicts free room and board for life. Plus they have better food down south. So seems to me the South is smarter in a few places.

There is a huge difference between being educated and being smart. Some of the dumbest people I've ever met have been educated beyond their intelligence. Most of the Yankees I know are well-educated, but lack common sense.

I've lived both North and South, I'll take the milder winters, lower taxes, and laid back atmosphere of the bible belt vs the rust belt anyday. My property taxes are 1/10 of yours up there, so I don't need a part time job, or hustle, just to survive.

You forgot the most important part: THEY HAVE TO NEVER SAY ANOTHER WORD IN PUBLIC AGAIN. How y'all can listen to that accent day after day without stabbing yourselves in the eardrum is a mystery to me.
