this is not a boat accident! And it wasn't any propeller; and it wasn't any coral reef; and it wasn't Jack the Ripper! It was a shark.

"Martin, there are all kinds of sharks in the waters, you know. Hammerheads, white tips, blues, makos, and the chances that these bozos got the exact shark...it's a hundred to one...a hundred to one. Now I'm not saying that this is not the shark. It probably is, Martin, it probably is. It's a maneater, it's extremely rare for these waters. But the fact is that the bite radius on this animal is different from the wounds on the victim. I just...I wanna be sure. You wanna be sure. We all want to be sure, OK?"

Guess they were sure...

Over the past couple of weeks two large expensive yachts have been found with no one on board along the coast of Florida. No traces of those who might have been on board have been found yet. (As of the article I read Sunday) One was ransacked and all kinds of electronics and stuff were removed.

I'm thinking we may have some pirates off our own coast.

Craxyd, that is my lovely insane governer, who claimed that there were a bunch of beheadings here in AZ, only the LEOs here have never heard about them, and neither have the press.
Yeah, there weren't any...

That's not pirates, and if it was it wouldn't be new. Drug smugglers have been stealing boats and planes all over the Caribbean for ages. Pirates would not ransack a boat, kidnap it's crew and then leave the valuable boat adrift into oblivion. Furthermore, they would not take catives without contacting someone for ransom. Doesn't look like pirates, my vote is Bermuda triangle:-D

I don't think the Crypt Keeper's Daughter will be re-elected, but I said the same thing about GWB. After that 'debate' last week, I can't see how anyone with two healthy brain cells would vote for her.

Interesting. That leg looks pretty cleanly severed at the knee. Doesn't look like decomposition and the actions of digestions have done too much to the body parts. An examination should be able to determine if the limbs were severed by blades or teeth and if there was any blood circulation or anything when the shark ate them.

I thought they looked a little melty myself (as in partially digested) kinda like that guy from Robocop who was covered in toxic waste. Perhaps the shredded bits at the stump were attacked more aggressively by the digestive juices of the shark, due to increased surface area exposure.

That's what Tiger sharks do best. It would have taken a few weeks for that fish to digest all that person.
