The article failed to give the most important detail?

Did they find the beer? Did the landlord steal it? Was the guy drunk drinking and just forget he drank it? Poor reporting.

Running out of booze or having your booze stolen sounds like an emergency to me. The direct line the robbery division has poor hours.

Not after they got the message and told you to quit calling 911. And that's not what 911 is for. It's for emergencies, but they gave him a pass and told him stop calling. Then he kept calling about something that was not an emergency after they told him to stop calling. I know this is hard to follow, but try and keep up.
