I skew towards the shy lurker end of the Farkette scale too, and I will be there. I find the judicious application of a beer or three does wonders to help with that. :)

Also a lurker, most of the time. I'll be there as well - been living here since '07 and still don't really know anyone in the city. I find the beer helps me too :-D

May just try to finally make a party. Just got sent to Halifax today for work until Monday (sure is a whole heck of a lot nicer than that hole they call New Brunswick that I've been stuck in for the past month). Thankfully Saturday is our day off, and we don't work until Sunday evening -- so there is lots of time for recovery.

As a born-and-raised Haligonian now living in Texas, I find it absolutely hilarious that there's a "traditional Southern BBQ" place on Argyle Street.
