Oh, the irony. These people have spent decades forcing their beliefs on others, passing out those idiotic pamphlets that insult any religion but their own. NOW they're upset because atheists/non-believers are speaking up, in the voice of reason, against all the ignorant superstitions out there. What, they want to shut the atheists up? Looks like they can dish it but can't take it, if you ask me.

BTW, Jehovah's Witnesses, like Christian Scientists, murder their children (and get away with it) by denying them life-saving medical help because they imagine their fake "god" says "no" to it. Instead of whining about atheists, they should be grateful their deluded asses haven't been thrown in prison where they belong.

Ahhh, my ex-JW friends and I have been getting quite a kick out of this new issue.

It was great fun for my athiest self to read it to my blind, devout JW father as well. He hates that I'm an athiest, but won't complain about it since I do all his caretaking (feeding, wiping, washing, etc.), and the JW's from his congregation won't even come around to take him to a meeting or two.

I asked him once why no one from his congregation came to see him, and he said "their work is more important."

All athiests are still scum to be despised, though. Go figure.

The JW and Watchtower have predicted the end of the world so many times I don't know how they still have followers. If my weatherman was that bad he'd be fired and I think we all know how good they are.

I probably should have mentioned that the ignition system is powered by Lucas, The Prince of Darkness. I could have gotten a free exorcism or something for it.

I miss the JWs coming to my door on Saturday morning. I always invited them in, gave them the beverage of their choice, and asked them why God made a world in which animals eat each other. Only once did one of them admit that it may not have been fair of God to impose that suffering on animals through no fault of their own.

Most of them just repeated what they'd been told, no matter what I said.

A couple JWs came to the house Monday morning (they'd seen me outside, so I couldn't hide). I proceeded to disagree with them on a few issues (with a huge smile on my face)....it really flustered the older man that a younger female was not just turning him away, but arguing with him.

Any religion one that takes it upon themselves to walk into my yard and bang on my door without an invitation or a regard for my privacy can kiss my ass.
