Wow, that's actually the reason.

And how does he not crush his wife? She looks tiny next to him.

Despite his list of ailments, Barry, of Burton on Trent, Staffs, has been refused incapacity benefit after leaving his job at Crestchic.

Awww, poor baby didn't manage to eat himself into disability.

Yeah. But that can be countered by him saving a falling coworker by providing a soft landing spot.

Ok seriously, someone explain to me how you get a body shaped like this? What is that second tired...shaped....thing? It looks like he's actually wearing two tires under his shirt.

img.thesun.co.uk

Barry, 51 - who also has diabetes, angina and other heart problems - said: "I had to climb on to platforms about three feet off the floor to install parts. They were worried I might pass out through my diabetes. They said my weight was a threat in case I fell off and landed on someone."

No shiat? Someone nearing retirement age who weighs 420 lbs, has diabetes, angina and other heart issues and they have the audacity to think you may keel over and crush someone? How dare they....think reasonably

Because you ate yourself into that situation.

He gets £21.65-a-week Jobseeker's Allowance.

The angry dad of one said: "I've paid tax for 34 years and should get something in return.

You have, it's called the NHS. That service that has managed to keep 420 lbs of 51 year old failure waddling around despite that land monster experiencing regular blackouts in addition to his diabetes, angina and other heart ailments.

Oh you mean you want a big cash payout for the government because "I've paid taxes". Gotcha.

Is there a reason this man can't begin a course of water aerobics? While swimming, running, biking etc might be dangerous for him, a low impact workout in a pool might be perfect.

If it wasn't for the risk he posed to others I would say let him continue his routine of climbing up high, using powertools and blacking out, the problem would sort itself out eventually.

Oh well, I guess I'll just go for a swim in my money pile out back, instead.

No, they make this thing that looks like a tray-table to support the fatty's weight without crushing the person on bottom. There's a website for fat-people accesories out there, it's pretty hilarious.

In most cases, obesity is a voluntary condition and a sign of mental weakness. Actual hormone imbalances or medicinal side effects are a sign of a failure in the medical system for poor or inadequate treatment.

We're pointing and laughing because he's whining that the government won't pay him more money to sit around and eat enough for a small third world country, which is how he came by his self inflicted health problems in the first place.

And because it's Fark, and that's how we roll.

what_now: Is there a reason this man can't begin a course of water aerobics? While swimming, running, biking etc might be dangerous for him, a low impact workout in a pool might be perfect.

From a weight-loss standpoint, water-based exercise actually isn't really going to do all that much good. To really burn calories, you need to be bearing some weight. That doesn't necessarily mean lifting weights; the body's own weight is enough for many forms of exercise (running, for example, or martial arts or even yoga). But if the water is holding you up, you aren't bearing weight, and that causes problems for weight loss. None of this is intended to diminish the value of swimming or other water sports as exercise, but you can't turn a screw with a hammer: different situations require different tools.

IANAD (and IANAPT, for that matter), but I'd be more inclined to recommend an elliptical, which is weight-bearing but low-impact.

Smokers have been the target of inequities for years. I knew it was only a matter of time before society moved on to fatties and it appears that time is now. Good. A little late but better late than never. The scarlet letter has been passed.

This brings an interesting point, though. Men complain about how women get fat after marriage (child bearing can be cruel to some women). Yet here's this fatty mcfatterson (beer can be cruel to some men) with his thin wife.

Just felt like pointing out it can and does go the other way.
