Pretty sad story, has a sword in a house with 4 kids, yet gets charged for endangering the welfare of a child for the filthy living conditions of the residence.
That must be some serious skunge built up along the floorboards...

Kurmudgeon: has a sword in a house with 4 kids

Yeah, goddammit, he should have a gun like a real American!

WTF, Kurmie? How about knives? Are parents with knives in the house criminally negligent? Gotta say, I'd worry a lot more about a kid with my chef's knife than one with my sabre.

Kurmudgeon: Pgets charged for endangering the welfare of a child for the filthy living conditions of the residence.

Gotta love those trumped-up charges. How do you charge one adult for the filth in a house without charging the other adult that lives there? Not excusing this guy, but farking logic, how does it work?

He got that because he pissed the cops off by running. If it's legitimate, CPS will make mommy's life just as hard.

Have to second the not charging her especially after he had just been out of the house for hours evading arrest. How is he responsible for the conditions of the house when he isn't present but she is?

/specially when she's got other issues on her keeping up with her duties.
//He tried to tell her but wasn't man enough to make it stick.
///not really like this but the first two slashies seemed funny.

You do the social work thing, too? There's a few of us farkers who work for the various CPS organizations out there. If the house was bad enough to charge Dad, the kids'll probably sleep somewhere else tonight.

/loves me some dirty house cases
//kinda like I love stepping on broken glass while barefoot

No, not a social worker; I learned early on that I hate people too much for that. I actually work on the other side of social services, in the exciting world of welfare fraud. There's... a phenomenal amount of overlap with the negligence and abuse crowd. What a shocker. We also do the first round investigations when someone claims misbehavior by CPS/child welfare services. So I spend a lot of time in that world.
