Mark Wahlberg should be ashamed of his entire career.

You'd think he'd apologize for the whole Funky Bunch thing, but no, it's this incidental membership in New Kids On The Block.

And I agree with oldebayer.

Some of us are ashamed of things we had to do to get a date in high school. Others are ashamed of having been involved with wildly successful musical outfits.

My heart weeps for you, Marky Mark. You're so brave to carry on.

Certainly Oscar-worthy....oh wait, I just forgot I'm retarded.

Only liked in him Boogie Nights, where he sounded liked a lisping queen throughout. He has a weird acting range...see Planet of the Apes where he's panicking, and huffing and puffing his lines all the way through as if he's just ran a few miles. You'll notice it now and what has been seen cannot be unseen when he does it sometimes in everything else he's in.

I'm still looking forward to the follow up of the Planet of the Apes movie he starred in.

It's going to be titled Planet of the Apes 2: Marky Mark and the Monkey Bunch.

A brother's got to eat. Of course Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch sucked but it was pop music. All pop music sucks, that's its function. How old are you? 16? 20? 30? 50? The pop music you grew up with for the most part sucked. No, that music too.

As for his movies well, Planet of the Apes was a remake of a classic and directed by Tim Burton, whose only real flop was well... Planet of the Apes. So you can't blame him for not seeing that coming. And The Happening...okay, Johnny Cochrane couldn't defend that one. I'll give him a pass by assuming he took the gig to get with Zooey Daschenal.

I didn't see The Big Hit or Invincible but the other films mentioned in this thread were good. And The Other Guys was a lot better than it was supposed to be.

Okay, I'll stop sucking him off now. I'm just trying to say he isn't as bad as what's his name from SNL. No, not that guy, the other guy. Well him too but also that guy. And that chick.

He was hot in Invincible, and that's all that matters as far as I'm concerned. I'm also an Eagles fan, which helps.

Wahlberg had a great role in The Departed. I forgave him for any previous embarrassments after that movie.

I'd be ashamed for people thinking I was in New Kids on the Block, if I was a reasonably talented action star, when it was my incredibly untalented brother Donny who was in NKOB instead.

Mark Wahlberg isn't a great actor, no; he's not even a really good one. But he does just fine at what he does, which is a B-list Matt Damon. But for gods sake, he isn't that worthless piece of ex-eye candy. Give the man a little credit.

Troll headline, idiot submitter (probably the English Major) or shiatty reporting; you decide?

Donnie's performance in the Sixth Sense showed more real acting ability than his brother has been able to hork up in an entire career.

Donnie Wahlberg is a better actor than Mark, he just doesn't pick his roles very well. When he does, he's golden. Look at his work during Band of Brothers for an example.

No, actually, he apologized for his rap career. If this article says differently, it's wrong.

We already know he hated his extremely short stint in NKOTB (before it was NKOTB), because he voluntarily left because he hated it.

I'm REALLY looking forward to his role as Irish Micky Ward in The Fighter, that comes out in December. I've heard good things about it so far, so I expect that it will be another one to add to Wahlberg's win column.

Whoa, I didn't know about that. From the descriptions I've found online, it doesn't even look like the movie gets to The Trilogy.
