Oh FFS. The only real downside to playing Mafia Wars is how addictive it can be. Brb, leveling up.

Mafia Wars is one of the most detestable sources of spam on the entire internet. If I could get some of my friends to stop sending me invitations and whatnot by writing an article about it, I would too.

He has been seen menacing his opponents with a siberian tiger and escaping the scene on a halloween themed roller coaster.

All the comments following the article are outraged that the reporter would waste their time with such dribble.

This article cannot be beneficial to the reporter's career.

Eh. I read the terms of agreement for installing apps on Facebook. Even if I spent time on it, I wouldn't bother. I am leaving all the app invites to pile up, though, just to see how many I get.

Drug Wars on the TI-83, though... good times.

THank god it wasn't World of Warcraft. Think of what would it be if he was an Orc and got the Storming Stormwind (new window) achievement.

Mafia Wars suxs since they got rid of the old robbery and put in their lame system. I used to get death threats for cleaning out a player's Casino.

In the game "Mafia Wars," Crabb has many titles. He's a "cold blooded" killer, a "Street Thug," a "Master Burglar" and a "robber" in the game.

As far as I know those are just titles you get through progression of the game. He isn't going out of his way to get any of these.

i suspect we will see a followup in the near future (tues or wed) with the paper offering a response to their readerships outrage.

(the following is a cool story bro)
here in sioux city, the journal noticed that an old article kept popping up from time to time as the highest read article. it was a story for the olive garden coming to town and A) it was like, one and a half pages long including the pront page and B) the writer was surely being paid for it by olive garden as he went on and on about the "authentic italian cuisine" (which is pretty damn horrendous) and how the local population has been clamoring for decades wanting one. long story short, the editorial was admitting that the whole story was damn rediculous and aknowledged that various online sites were posting it under "this is a stupid story"
(end of cool story bro

If he was in Newark, he'd be playing "Mafia Wars" in real life.

So.

Um.

I mean, is he playing this while he's supposed to be working on city business? Or during council meetings?

I mean, if he was supposed to be working while playing, then I could understand outrage...

/But this is like me being suspended in highschool for writing "the other side of the hill was covered in strip joints".

At the age of 86, Mr. Conrad, who lived in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., died at home early Saturday of natural causes, The Los Angeles Times quoted his son David as saying.

Dying of "natural causes" always has the same feeling to me as, "legitimate businessman".

War on drugs... War on terrorism... War on Christmas...

Now the government is trying to start a War on the Mafia? How far will this go?

In other news: "Journalist" too lazy to log in to Mafia Wars to do bare minimum of research for story, attempts to manufacture outrage over subject he does not understand in the slightest

It doesn't seem like the writer tried contacting the politician in question for any comments either.

I know it's "Not news" but this qualifies for "Not journalist"

Hell, to get anywhere in that game you gotta balance the holy hell out of many resources. Sounds good to me. I want my politicians understanding that the money is tied into shiat you can or can't do.

Your troll-fu is weak, I award you zero points. I suggest you go back to 4chan and study the material they present.
