To be fair, he'd definitely be funnier than that one guy that quotes Monty Python ad nausea um.

But yeah, if you don't really like Python you need your head checked, they covered pretty much the entire spectrum of comedy,satire, parody, slapstick and of course surrealism; and did them all brilliantly (except when they occasionally slipped into racist comedy- see any skit featuring the Chinese- that shiat just wasn't funny)

Lampmonster: Like most weekly comedy shows they made more crap than good stuff. It's just the good stuff we remember. When they hit, they hit hard though.

I watched all the series except the last recently, and I think most of the sketches held up quite well, but I guess it helps that I am British, so probably get more of the references, can shrug of bad American accents easier and except men dressing as women as eternal British comic staple.
