The vast majority of fast food restaurants are-normally their corporate standards are higher than even the health departments; because they know that if they poison someone (and it would be, normally, a lot of people getting sick) it will give their name a black eye and possibly many lawsuits.

I believe it. My kitchen includes a litter box used by two cats. Mind you, this was not my idea, but I don't own the house.

Kind of messes with me, because I was nearly raised in restaurant kitchens which followed health department rules and then some. Drives me f*cking crazy, actually ;)

I briefly worked at a Taco Bell. I was very impressed with the cleanliness standards there. Plus very little of the food is cooked on site, most is cooked at a bulk facility which can maintain better quality control then an idiot making $7.50/hr
