Will there be Lego geese?

2010-09-02 02:55:16 PM
Probably more appropriate than the Ted Stevens Lego version.

Ken Osbon of Goshen Township, one of the organizers of the event, will have one scene depicting the Miracle on the Hudson airliner crash in New York City. Another scene will be based on the "Deadliest Catch" television show.

So they're gonna a little lego Captain Phil lying on the floor while a little lego Jake steals his little lego painkillers?

2010-09-02 02:57:05 PM
Are they running out of things to make out of Lego?

I've seen some amazing photos of things built with Lego.

But not today.

I've seen some outrageously amazing things made in Legos, enough to convince me that it truly is an art media and not just a toy. But this looks like a couple of 10 year olds put it together from standard kits in an afternoon.

/I is disappoint

Bill Lynch, who is promoting the event with Osbon, said he will display a farm scene with barns, tractors, farm houses, bridges and a train.

I did that exact same thing with Lego's....when I was 8.

Thats freaky timing guys,

a small plane just crashed on takeoff into the lagoon near the oracle building @Redwood City, California (south of SF). Apparently it flew right past our building.

Legos Rock!

I have *VINTAGE* Legos not for sale!

When I'm Alz-addled and being cared for by the state (frick, I hope), I expect to be having great fun with these cellular toys, rebuilding my lost brain cells with bright blue blocks...

;)

Agreed, this looks pretty lame compared to a lot of custom lego work, like the examples others have now posted.

They should have used Weebils cause they wobble but they don't fall down.

Pull up the lyrics to Zombocom's motivational speech and replace Zombocom with Lego(s). Don't know why but that's what I thought of.
