So I was watching Slacker this weekend, which I hadn't seen in 15 years, and I was shocked to see this.



RON PAUL has been running for Prez for over 20 years.

wow, he could absolutely pwn Beck. I bet he could draw a larger crowd.

Andromeda: Pocket Ninja: He won't do it, because it's a no-win situation for him. If he doesn't get demonstrably more people than Beck did, it's a talking point for Beck to use from here until eternity. If he does get demonstrably more people than Beck, it's proof of the liberal media controlling everything and reason for Beck's supporters to fight harder to reclaim America.

I was hoping Victoria Jackson would have opened for Beck's rally. No such luck. THAT would have drawn a million people.

At least summer is winding down if this thing actually rolling this year. I can climb into a sauna wearing a parka and hang out there for a couple hours if I want to replicate standing around D.C in August.

Glen Beck's rally was one of the biggest (semi-)political gatherings in recent history, like it or not. The attendance was estimated to be a few hundred thousand shy of the crowd in attendance for Obama's inauguration, which was 1.8 million.

How many people watch Colbert's show on a nightly basis? Would they all have to come to DC for it to be as big a crowd? It'd be embarrassing if Colbert had a rally and it paled in comparison to Beck.

Quasar: Not many people would attend. Unlike Beck's audience, Colbert's have jobs.

Actually, I bet more of them would show up because of the whole jobs thing. You know, they could afford to stay in DC for the night...
