"A drunken Queens dad cruised his car 30 blocks down the Rockaway Beach Boardwalk - with six kids in the back, prosecutors said Wednesday."

But did owner of Boardwalk also own Park Place? That's when it will really cost you.

He said he was going to LA. He never got there.

A 16 and a 14 year old and neither one of them thought daddy was a little to drunk to drive? He must do it often then and I wonder if either of them thought anything was weird about driving on the boardwalk?

Need more details.

Obviously. You have to have at least 6 kids before you can upgrade to adults. Thems the rules.

Yawn.

Even the whiney New Yorker handwringing was shallow & predictable. Now if he'd taken a 73 Caddy convertible up there on a Saturday night and plowed through herds of pedestrians....

/now that's entertainment!!

Six kids?

Someone is a winner at the game of LIFETM.

Here's the thing, legally drunk or not, .122 isn't THAT drunk. This guy should be jailed for being such a lightweight.

Definitely not a winner at the game of Life.

I think he got the game of Life mixed up with his Monopoly.

/Yes I see it has been covered.

He thought he was going to wind up with free parking and take all the money at the center of the board... THERE'S NOTHING IN THE RULES THAT SAY FREE PARKING = FREE MONEY!

Hopefully he can find a get out of jail free card.

Man does not pass go and goes directly to jail for driving drunk on Boardwalk with six kids in his car... and, of course, the squirrels.

It's definitely TROUBLE™ but he can get leniency if he just tells them he's SORRY™

You've never been to a boardwalk at the Rockaways have you? The only places that sells food are at the couple of blocks where their amusement park is located, the rest of those several miles of boardwalks have nothing.

Have you ever tried to make a drunk realize what they are going to do is a bad idea?

This Boggles my mind, the father doesn't have a Clue. It was not a Risk he needed to take at all. Somebody could have been seriously injured and need a costly Operation. Or worse, lose a Life. Hell, it could have been the father himself! I guess the kids wouldn't have to worry about waking daddy anymore.
