The best thing Ministry has ever done is discover Marz, and the only good thing Marz has ever done is Lung Fu Mo She.

Saw them live for the first time on the farewell tour. Worst concert i've ever attended. I'm pretty sure it was the venue, but damn, it was awful.

/yea I know, CSB
//still would be good to get some new stuff from them

Haggan: I'm pretty sure it was the venue ...

Probably was. I saw them a couple of years ago at a smallish place, they sounded great.

Speaking of cool stories, there was some sweet young thing (with her somewhat slimy hipster date) being more friendly to me than I'm used to strange women being. She wouldn't stop talking to me before the show started ... The guy left for a short while, came back with some pills. "Here, take this." Ten minutes after the concert started, the girl is starting to stagger, hanging on a railing trying to stay upright. Security came over and escorted her out over her loud protests "I want to see the show!" Her date followed.

Was the woman roofied? What should I have done?

/I had a good spot on the rail and watched the rest of the show.

Al Jourgensen's no stranger to a fun cover every now and then.

I liked Al's bit on the new FLA album. Not a classic track by any means, but amusing to listen to.

They're re-recorded version of Every Day Is Halloween is pretty sucky sounding.
It would've killed if they'd played it as the closer on that last tour, though.

Nothing. She was with security, they had it under control.

Revco does great covers. "Do ya think I'm Sexy" is an all-time classic.

Al is awesome, but ever since Rio Grande Blood, I've liked the Ministry and Revco remix albums better than the originals.

as long as he keeps his politics out of the music from now on, i'm interested. but you can only beat a dead horse for so long before people get tired of your persistent biatching.

on the other hand, i've never been a fan of ministry's covers (with the sole exception of "roadhouse blues").

give me material influenced by the days of psalm 69, tmiatttt, and filthpig and i will be a happy, nostalgic 28yo.

if they'd ask me if they should have covered Rehab, I'd say no, no, no ...

That track did not belong on the new fla album, it's completely out of place...

/bitter that the deluxe version was mp3 only

"Jesus built my hotrod" works well slowed down 30% or sped up 30% tempo.

Worst to the point of tragedy.

They started being good - at least in my mind - at the time of Every Day Is Like Halloween. I'm gonna search YouTube to see if that Old Style commercial's available.

Exactly... You got a rail spot... And she got her spot railed out back, no need to get your neck stepped on by "Steroid Security Inc"
