HMMM. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin. That explains everything.

That hyphenated last named chikie-doo needs to get her uppity sugartits voted right the hell out of office. I will see to it that I personally do my part next voting cycle.

Kristi Noem is wayyyy hotter anyhow.

I never vote for pretty people. Pretty people don't have to work as hard at anything.

Steve Buscemi for president.

what timing! I'm going to a talk soon for women to point out to them that women win local offices just as often as men - they just run a lot less often. so they'll get advice on how to run for office.

besides, could they fark up politics any further? I think not. *poof*

That South Dakota Congressional race has to be the hottest combo of women running against each other for federal office in the history of the US. Not even close, I'd imagine. They're both very hittable. When has that ever happened?

It's only sexist if the swimsuit competition counts for more than 30% of the final score when they debate.

I've heard this theory as well. Granted, I don't have any personal experience to support the idea, but it seems logical.

I think everyone should apologize for calling Bill Clinton a womanizer. I mean, just because he's a man... it's so sexist.

The money will pay for an online advertising campaign, including a website, spoofy videos and the development of a smart phone application that allows users to report sexist comments in the media.

Yeah, and that'll last about 2 hours until the uploads of fan videos with gushing over Twilight, and Tweets yaking about what happened on Jersey Shore last night all come rolling in...

rather than pointing out that a candidate is "probably a good mother" or other such antiquated notions about the role individuals who identify themselves as genetically female have classically chosen for themselves in their family, we should just say "I believe this individual most likely makes meaningful contributions to it's family unit."

Then we can be safe. Also, no more pictures of Obama's bare chest on the beach, please. It's sexist.

She has a point, even if it is hyperbolic and knee-jerkily applied. Unfortunately, she doesn't seem like she'd be interested in talking about all the ways we're sexist against men in American politics/culture. Equality doesn't mean "pick on a different group than mine." Women have a ways to go in some regards (equality-wise), but the pendulum has swung pretty far in their favor in other ways.

/TV commercials with dim-bulb husbands and greeting cards from women to other women, I'm looking at you.
/"If we can put one man on the moon...why can't we put all of them there?"
/Apologies for not being silly.

God, I cannot stand the idiot husband/father stereotype. It's just not funny, and reinforces the notion that all husbands/fathers are helpless unless their wife is there.
