I like the one with just the words better.
Also, I'd like to point out that I used to know Cee-Lo Green. Because he's one of the very few celebrities I can name drop, please indulge me just this once.

Is it just me or do the lyrics not fit the story going on in the new video?

The lyrics talk about how he had the girl, but she left him for someone with more money and broke his heart in the process. The video makes it seem like he never had her and his attempts to even get her in the first place were unrequited and even earned him a lap full of fries and ketchup.

TL;DR: The first one is better.

This movie is trying too hard, it'll appeal to the MTV and YouTube crowds. First one was simple and straight to the point.

I love the tune, but it's hard not to think of Nilsson's "You're Breakin' My Heart".

That one was a specific shout-out to President Bush, as I recall. The whole thing is directed at him. Hell, the title was originally "Guess Who, Batman."

I slightly prefer this one (pops), for some reason, requires age verification; here's a version (pops) with no age verification, but an annoying intro.

The first one was better. This new one just looks like a fat Bill Duke lip-synching. An animated version would probably be better than live action.

Am going to guess that this was filmed in Atlanta, Cee-Lo's hometown and home to some fine-ass black girls. Not generally a fan of black chicks (from an attraction perspective), but damn, they seem to grow them fine down there.
