I like Feist just fine. Her work with BSS, her guest appearance on the last Wilco album, even her last solo disc was very listenable (if you ignore the single, which can be said of nearly any release).

I love Feist. I heard Mushaboom in some random place, years ago, and that's when I became a fan. I, for one (2,3,4), am really happy there's a new album in the works.

I appreciate very much that she's not some cookiecutter star. When you hear her music (her voice in particular), you know *right away* who it is.

I'm with you. It's the sort of thing that hipsters have to have in their repertoire to break up the monotony of soul-crushingly lo-fidelity tunes that make up the rest of their iPods.

This does not, of course, make it defensible.
