I think the books are terrific- maybe not great literature, but they sure are great stories. And kudos to her for her donation towards MS research.

Hell of a trick though.

Emma Watson is hot with the new hair. Glad she changed it. I found it difficult to lust her when she still looked like what's her name from the movies. I'm thinking a three way with her, me, and Natalie Portman. I could rub their furry little heads while they.. oh, sorry....

This is very good. I always wonder why athletes, actors and other folks of renown and wealth are reported on for donating a few hundred K to charities. This is a money where you heart is donation. Good for her.

Oh, and she's insanely sexy... I would put on my robe and wizard hat for her anytime.

I don't really know anything about the books or films, but I do know that JK Rowling is extremely generous with her time and money. Big donations like this can't really be hidden in a small country, and sometimes it's the personal endorsement/appearance that counts most, but she doesn't court the publicity (loathes it, I think), but there are many, many small causes that have support from her. She's a good'un.

Wolfen067: ow hard are these research facilities trying to find cures?

More likely, figuring out what causes it might be a good start.

I mean, they have people like the lovely Ms. Rowling giving them 15 million...but if they were to find a cure for MS, what would they do then?

I hope they'd deliver it to the patients, and figure out ways of preventing others from developing it, and/or having relapses.

Not trying to be a killjoy, but when I see things like the Jerry Lewis telethon that's been going since 1966 and I haven't seen any headway...I don't know, I guess it's the cynic in me.

MS research has come a long way in the past twenty years or so, but there's still nothing completely effective. Yes, that includes weed, Montel. The disease-modifying drugs seem to slow progression; I'm hoping that's the case for me. (And, yes, Montel is still taking his shots, in addition to smoking up. I can't because of my job....)

/Still optimistic about CCSVI/angioplasty in the jugular.
//Shiat ain't fun. Seriously. I should buy some of her books as a thank you.

I thought MS was pretty well fixed????

Was caused by clogged veins from the brain...
And catheter cleaning of those veins resolved it...
Did I miss something?

I think it's great when one of our betters chooses to assuage their latent middle-class guilt by making a token but well publicized donation to a charitable cause - especially one that is certain to have exactly zero impact on the issue at hand.

That was my first thought but if you happen to have breasts yourself, put your arms by your sides and note where the bottom of your breasts end up with respect to your elbows and compare to the picture. Even with a bra, mine are about where hers are.

/Or I could need a new bra

Good on her for the donation. Now, might I please have Williams back for the score on Deathly Hallows???

PLEASE.

The score (or lack thereof) for HBP completely ruined it for me.

Should have been directed by Alfonso (IMHO that is).

I do, and she has serious droop. If that's where yours sit, you might want to consider getting a professional fitting. Nordstrom's and Victoria's Secret will do it for free, as will most Farkers ;-)

Once you find a bra model that fits well and gives you the silhouette you want, you can usually get it online at a discount.
