Also from the article, they want to fine Shakira for dancing in a fountain.

I think most of us would agree that we'd rather PAY Shakira to dance in a fountain. What a stupid, stupid city.

To be fair, they didn't realize it was U2 and The Edge was playing the same riff in nine consecutive songs.

Spain isn't the first. Several of Chicago's southern suburbs went after them for the same reasons following a show at the World Music Theater in 1992.

Indeed. They got cited by the Germans in 1992 or 1994 for playing late and loud in Nuremberg; apparently the neighbors are now a little sensitive about big rallies at night. They almost got cited for displaying the swastika, but the Germans couldn't prove that they'd seen what they thought they saw on the video screens.
