Aw, they seemed like a nice couple.

I grew up idolizing GnR and loving their music but I'm extremely tired of hearing about Slash. Asshole Rose may get the hate deserves due to whining and moaning, but Slash can't get over Axl getting over him.

Sure he's a great guitarist but hasn't done anything epic in a very long time and I'm pretty sure he's been playing since he left GnR.

He has a pace maker and more health issues than a 90 year old coal miner. I would bet getting the ladies isn't the issue, its what he does after that, that's the issue.

I actually feel bad for Slash. He chose to leave GN'R in the mid-90s because Axl was crazy. A string of failed solo albums, then he gets VR going. This time, he's not replacing Tracii Guns in someone else's band - it's HIS band. Only, he's got another crazy frontman he can't handle, and that goes south. VR finally breaks up when Axl lets out that Slash showed up at his house once looking for a reunion, and Axl, having moved on, doesn't even speak to him. VR dies and Slash even publicly talks about missing playing the old songs, only no one is interested in him from GN'Rs end, even when Izzy Stradlin is touring with the band again. Finally, he gets out a solid solo album with a bunch of celebrity guest spots and WHAM - his marriage falls apart, probably because Perla knows he isn't going to get another shot with a big act, and with Axl selling out shows in South America, England, and really, anywhere that isn't the U.S. - she knows Slash isn't going back to GN'R any time soon. Wouldn't be surprised if that's what led to this but who knows.
