What's the significant of that night in 1990? I heard some rumor but I'd like to hear some more.

If Beck does indeed have a DeLorean and a flux capacitor then maybe he knows the future and is right ! LOL

I want to tell you a story. I'm going to ask you all to close your eyes while I tell you the story. I want you to listen to me. I want you to listen to yourselves. Go ahead. Close your eyes, please. This is a story about a little girl walking home from the grocery store one sunny afternoon. I want you to picture this little girl. Suddenly a truck races up. Glenn Beck jumps out and grabs her. He drags her into a nearby field and he ties her up and he rips her clothes from her body. Now he climbs on, raping her, shattering everything innocent and pure with a vicious thrust in a fog of drunken breath and sweat. And when he's done, after he's killed her tiny womb, murdered any chance for her to have children, to have life beyond her own, he decides to use her for target practice. He starts throwing full beer cans at her. He throws them so hard that it tears the flesh all the way to her bones. Then he urinates on her. Now comes the hanging. He has a rope. He ties a noose. Imagine the noose going tight around her neck and with a sudden blinding jerk she's pulled into the air and her feet and legs go kicking. They don't find the ground. The hanging branch isn't strong enough. It snaps and she falls back to the earth. So he picks her up, throws her in the back of the truck and drives out to Foggy Creek Bridge. Pitch her over the edge. And she drops some thirty feet down to the creek bottom below. Can you see her? Her raped, beaten, broken body soaked in his urine, soaked in his semen, soaked in her blood, left to die. Can you see her? I want you to picture that little girl.

I did find it interesting in one of those videos they played during the DerpFest they tried to equate themselves to the civil rights movement. At one point mentioning that sometimes people risk it all to be a part of something bigger. What the hell were these people risking, exactly, besides ridicule? There were no death threats from cops, no firehoses, no dogs, no billy clubs, so what was the risk?

I listened to a good part of the rally and it really was just 3 hours of empty platitudes. Words designed to play on patriotism and emotions to turn your brain to mush.

Has Glenn Beck actually been comparing himself to MLK Jr or did he just co-opt a time and place of significance to the civil rights movement for his latest two minute hate?

Because if he hasn't actually been comparing himself to MLK, I can tell you right now where this is going to wind up. He's going to be completely dismissive of the fact that he so nonchalantly shat all over the memory of one of America's greatest historical figures and focus on the fact that the stupid libs keep saying he thinks he's MLK Jr. when he never said any such thing. Then the whole thing is going to get turned back on his opponents as just more evidence of how wacky they are and how they're out to smear this poor, delicate man with lies and he'll use it to further fire the kiln of ignorance he uses to fashion his ridiculous little clay-brained soldiers.

Derp is a powerful thing. Always remember that when you look into the derp the derp looks back at you.

skin cancer...they were all risking the chance of developing skin cancer at a later date due to how sunny it was that day and how white everyone in the crowd was

Remember, these are the people that formed a spontaneous grassroots organization to protest the taxes that were raised yet again on January 21, 2009.

In order to attend that rally, these brave souls risked it all riding public transportation, through areas that were inhabited by brown people. Don't you know how dangerous brown people can be?

According to prominent FARKers, that's the reason prisons are so overcrowded with them.

You see, this was genius on his part.

His constituency are, at their core, people who never got over
the fact that the uppity darkies weren't satisfied with seperate
but equal, and his big rally this weekend was their way of trying
to 'take back' the country.
